It was a beautiful stay, although the bathroom is really small but was manageable, was able to do the online check-in and everything was smooth, the place was quiet and offers lovely breakfast!

Lovely place

We had a great stay ,the bar / restaurant were very good. The bar was very impressive & the staff very friendly. The room was OK ,if the toilet / shower a little small.

Very friendly

Very hospitable. Room was basic but very comfortable. The shower was very small and me being not small I couldn’t use it. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again. But might request a room with larger shower if available.

Lovely pub! Stayed for a night while in the area and couldn't fault it. Food was really nice and plenty of it and good value. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was pleasant enough and quiet and clean. Pub was big with a pool table and darts and is dog friendly. Plenty of parking and even the added bonus of EV charging in the car park if you need it. Happily stay here again if we're ever back in the area!

Great weekend with very attentive staff

We had a fantastic 2 night stay in the family room. All the staff were so kind and attentive and engaged wonderfully with the children. Great value for money stay and food was amazinf.

Staff were fantastic and the food was excellent. Room was really dirty, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and falling on us while we sleep and some of the furniture was caked in dust. Shower and sink had hot water in the evening but in the morning there was no hot water.

Hotel was quite a bit dated, wardrobe was missing a handle and tv a bit on the small side. Hotel staff were very welcoming and happy to answer any questions about the area and neaby places to visit. Meals were good although when restaurant was busy we had to wait over 2 hours for food. I had read in some of the reviews that traffic noise was an issue, I was a bit concerned however we could not hear anything even though our window was open all night.
