Plenty of outdoor living space can be found at this 2-bedroom, 2-bath cottage with an enclosed front patio as well as a large backyard, all framed by live oak trees. Located in Carmel’s Golden Rectangle, it’s close to shopping, dining and entertainment.
The 1,244-square-foot residence is in a quiet neighborhood close to Pacific Repertory Theatre and Sunset Center, making this an ideal place for theater and music lovers who want to be close to these legendary Carmel venues.
It’s also within walking distance of the beach and downtown, making it easy to park your car and go on foot to many different attractions. By car, it’s just 10 minutes to the world-class golf courses and restaurants of Pebble Beach®, to monarch butterfly sightings in Pacific Grove, or to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Other attractions within a half hour’s drive are the natural wonders of Big Sur and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village.
Living Spaces
Charming cottage interiors with hardwood floors throughout, large windows and French doors that let in generous amounts of natural light, plantation shutters and a large wood deck are all elements of this home.
Guests enter the home via a private gated patio that leads up to a French door entryway, opening into the cozy living room, which has a comfortable seating area with leather club chair and upholstered sofa around a wooden trunk coffee table, a perfect place to watch the 46-inch HDTV. The adjacent gas fireplace lends warmth and light both to the living room and dining room areas.
Kitchen and Dining
The nearby fully-equipped kitchen has a window overlooking the backyard as well as a deep sink with two faucets. A Wolf gas cooktop with four burners and wall oven, solid-surface countertops, vintage style cabinetry and travertine backsplash complete the picture. Included in this open floor plan is a dining area around a farmhouse dining table with seating for five as well as counter seating for two. French doors open onto the back deck.
The large deck in back has outdoor seating and a gourmet gas grill. The deck can be accessed either from the dining room or from the hallway near the bedrooms. A flagstone patio and bistro set can be found below the deck in the backyard, surrounded by an ivy-covered wooden fence and beautiful landscaping. Well-equipped for extended stays!
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Inside, a hallway leads to two bedrooms.
Bedroom #1 has a forest-themed king metal canopy bed, as well as an en suite bath, a 24-inch HDTV and seating area. Eclectic cottage furnishings provide a unique ambiance in tones of white, gray and soft browns.
The updated en suite bathroom has a tiled bathroom with a tub/shower combo, pedestal sink and large mirror.
Bedroom #2 has a California king bed with vintage wooden headboard and plush bedding.
A hallway bath has a deep apron sink, hexagonal floor tiles and shower with glass door and custom subway tile.
Parking is available in the driveway and on the street. The garage is not available for guests.

This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner. Extended stays are often possible.
