The apartment is lovely and in a great location.

The apartment is lovely and in a great location. The views are incredible, and Arnside promenade is a short walk away. The main bedroom has a library with a great range of books to choose from. The kitchen area was well equipped. The heating worked well and it was nice and cosy. I will be coming back to stay again. The only slight issue was the water in the shower in the main bedroom ensuite was very slow to drain, and I needed to remove the plug cover to get it to drain away. On arriving It took a while to figure out how to get in, so this info might be useful to others: The keybox is to the right of the entrance with some other keyboxes. Input the code to retrieve the key and you will see it has a keyring tag which you need to scan at the intercom/panel to the left of the entrance door to get in. Then go through the corridor and turn right to reach the apartment.

Room for improvement

Beautiful property with stunning views. Was warm, cosy and well equipped and the sitting out area a bonus, however.........Gaining entry took far to long due to lack of instructions. Once key has been accessed, further instructions are on the keypad to left of main door.No clothing storage in 2nd bedroom and no dressing table in either room although there is ample space. No mattress protectors on beds in 2nd bedroom.Brown stains in toilet.Filthy toilet brush and holder.Thick black mould in en suite shower.Fridge not clean.Dirty washing up brush.While obvious surfaces were clean, ie main floor, bathroom floor and fittings, kitchen worktop etc, there was a lot of thick black dust on bedroom skirtings, cobwebs behind doors and damaged paintwork on french windows.Grubby, stained small towel.Dog hairs on cushions.Welcome pack was 3 sachets of milk and 2 catering size packets of biscuits.These are all issues that can be easily remedied and would make for a perfect stay as this really is a special property in one of Britain's finest locations
