Lovely owners who have run this place for over 40 years. It is set back in time, early 80s and an education and experience of that. However does have Wifi and central to the Town. I was upgraded to a larger room with en suite without asking which was a nice touch. Pleasantly surprised with the cost that it included breakfast, I had porridge, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and toast. All floors have stairs which would not be suitable for the less mobile.

We arrived and was shown we're too park, behind the premises, they also had storage for my friends motorbike. We checked in and was shown to are room ,which was on the top floor . Room was clean very old fashioned but was full off character. Had Kettle and tea/coffee/biscuits/hot chocolate etc, Beds were comfortable and clean bedding. Several options for Breakfast ,full English,Cereals,Toast etc. Only met the Lady owner she was lovely,chatty and welcoming. Had peaceful night sleep ,the location was excellent .

Had a light large room with en suite, if you want fancy then this is not for you, the couple running it are very easy to talk to and very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was good, right in the centre of town.

Lovely staff and a very comfortable stay. The property is located in a calm and quiet town, making it an ideal place to relax, especially if you’re travelling with your own vehicle. The building is very old and traditional, full of character, and has been well maintained. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience. The property has its own restaurant where breakfast is served. It is a lovely, traditional restaurant run by an elderly lady who was very welcoming. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and a great start to the day.

A very interesting period property built around 1610 with winding stairs and exposed beams. The lady of the house was very amenable and has been running the place for around 50years.

I booked this for a short one night stay on a budget. The property is not up to modern standards but as long as you are not fussy is ok. The owners are a lovely, helpful couple. Unfortunately it is next to a pub and on a Friday night there was loud, live music and there were still people out on the main street being noisy. Luckily I had some ear plugs with me.

The smell hits you when you arrive, chip fat possibly, everything is so old, carpets, furniture, wouldnt say clean either but exception for sheets and towels provided. Just needs selling and massive refurb.

We tavelled to the Copper Kettle by bicycle Lovely landlady. Very helpful and let us put our bikes in the shed. She really made us feel welcome. The B&B is in a very old property and there are lots of quirky, odd angles and walls but even so the property looked tired and could do with redecorating. The shower in our room had a kinked hose and the shower head wouldn't stay in its holder so we had to use it hand held. The beds were odd sizes too and my mattress was lumpy. The hotel was well situated on the main street and only 300m from the Brewery tap - excellent beer and pizzas. The cooked breakfast was excellent and fueled us up ready to take on the Cumbrian hill on our bikes.

Cheap and cheerful, in need of a lot of tlc. Room 5 was fine although the bathroom floor was very uneven. Breakfast was good, other meals were okay, you get what you pay for! Had to wash everything when we got home due to the smell of fried food.

Lovely guesthouse and inn. Was a great stop for a night before the windmere swim marathon. Really appreciate that breakfast is included and very gracious host.
