「The staff were attentive to our needs. We ate there on the second night of our stay. They food was lovely and hot when served. We did not wait for too long from ordering to getting our food. There were limitations on what we could have both on the food and drink side due to delivery issues. My and I were are aware that there was music being played when we went to bed, but I did not really interfere with us getting to sleep. Eat plugs were provided which my wife used. 「It's the staff that make this hotel stand out , closely followed by the food ,which was apparent during breakfast no short cuts on quality, using local suppliers. The biggest surprise was the Saturday nights entertainment with a local group playing all the classics. Rooms in keeping with the traditional vibe that goes with the rest of the hotel. 」

「Fabulous weekend. Stayed in the Parisian Suite which was clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious - we will definitely stay at Absoluxe Suites again. 」

「Cross cottage is a really well appointed house. It’s perfect for 2 people..very warm and cosy with beautiful views of the fells. We will be back soon.」

「Room was nice. Food was good. Some issues. Toilet kept running had to keep pressing the button to get it to stop. Room was advertised as a king bed, instead got two singles pushed together. Some things on the breakfast buffet weren't refilled from the day before. 」

Not far from the Lakes for walks and exploring, and close to Kirkby Lonsdale for local shops and restaurants. Good parking and excellent communication from the host, everything was very straightforward. Would recommend!」
