“The motel is well situated in an area that has plenty of places to eat and things to see and do. We're from the area, and didn't get to see everything we wanted to. The staff was very accommodating. Pet friendly rooms need to see some love. Smoking was allowed in the room, and the carpets and top covers were full of burn holes. My pillow cases had burns on them. Pool looked very nice and clean. EXPEDIA should warn the customer that the rate that they (expedia) are quoting DOES NOT include Pet……

“Tried to charge me 11$ more than the price I was given online when I made the reservation. I showed him the confirmation email and he then refused to rent me a room all together over me wanting him to honor the price I had already confirmed online. Did so by using various hand signs because his English was less than understandable. Terrible experience and the place appeared to be filthy going by what the parking lot and lobby looked like. I don't imagine the rooms being any better but never……

“CALl IT WHAT IT IS If you are an AT hiker looking for a place to sleep close to the trail, in the dry, this is a good option. The bed was clean, had a refrigerator and ceiling fan, but no coffee pot. The bathroom and shower are communal so be aware there is not a bathroom in each “cabin,” nor can you lock your door from the inside. Thus “resort” is misleading. I am not sure why they chose to include “resort” in naming this place. It is very clearly a nice rustic campground with four hostel……

“Was not impressed. Lobby had a bad smell at check in. There was a floor drying fan as soon as we step off the elevator. There was a significant amount of dirt on the floor in our bathroom. Breakfast area was having issues with their ac and it was too hot in there eat.”
