Super cute double container home, had plenty of room. Originally booked for just me, but then my son and a bunch of his friend showed up. We were all accommoded dated fairly well. Great location right in the middle of Cascade locks within a 5 minute walk of several eating options, shopping, arcade, and many other things. Quite possibly the best spot in that little town.

FABULOUS Casa de Cargo

We loved the entire cargo container experince! Kudos to the owners because inside and out, the marketing materials matched the actual space and for the first time in serveral years of renting properties for vacation, "walking distance" was actually real and one I can get behind as someone with severe arthritis. We selected the location to bike some nearby trails and it worked out perfectly. Great food, friendly community, we would stay again, maybe as soon as June!

Lovely place

My friend and I enjoyed our stay very much! Very clean place! Well organized! Has everything we needed! Kitchen is well supplied! Beds are comfortable. The weather was wet and windy but we stayed warm inside and enjoyed the the view from the house. Standalone heater was very helpful.

Cute place in a small town

Very impressed with this unit. It was modern and clean. Convenient for us as we did things in the area. Our first 1/2 of the trip revealed the beautiful scenery of the gorge. However, due to the wildfires, smoke had moved in and prevented us from seeing Mt. Hood, etc. Beautiful waterfalls in this area too.

Really enjoyed this property! Great location, easy to find and check-in, the storage unit home was shockingly, comfortable, and spacious. Brewery with the best view over the gorge is right across the street 1.5 blocks away. Was very cozy, and it easily felt like home home away from home. I got a check-in text every day asking how things were going, and giving useful information. we explored downtown Portland itself, the famous Multonomah Falls, Hood River and the Wine Valley Fruitloop, the overlook at Rowena Crest the bridge of the gods, and a couple breweries across the river in Washington and White Salmon specifically. Very easy to get to all locations by car. There was way more to do than we had time for. And this was a great homebase. Would definitely stay again!

Convenient getaway at great location

Storage container unit outside, relaxing home inside. The challenge was property manager was replacing the A/C unit the day we checked in. Workers didn’t finish and first night we relied on the failing A/C and two large fans to keep cool during the unusually hot 90 degree temps. Resolution: property manager was routinely communicating with us pointing out the fans and offering tips to cool the home until technicians came next day and completed the installation. The new unit cooled the home nicely. A funky smell lingered in the area near the A/C unit install. We loved the proximity to restaurants, coffee shop and access to trails. The view from the porch was beautiful.

The kitchen was so well-stocked with the basic seasonings and every pot, pan and utensil I needed. Being in the middle of town, on a quiet street, was just perfect. It was so convenient to have the little store across the street. The home was much more spacious than I had imagined. 5 out of 5 stars - I would definitely stay here again!

Great Little House

This is a super cute little house and we throughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean and organized when we arrived and everything was exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect for us to do the Bridge of the Gods Half Marathon in Cascade Locks. The town was cute and everyone was so friendly. Thirsty Coffee shop was a favorite early in the morning. Views from the deck were amazing. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location

Our daughter had her wedding in Cascade Locks and this house was perfect. We could walk everywhere in town and the kitchen was great for baking. We will be back for a hiking vacation for sure!

Lovely modern house in downtown

This house made from shipping containers is light and modern. Very comfortable and just steps from downtown Cascade Locks. Walk half a block to the Thirsty Coffee Bar for some truly great coffee.
