「We just wanted a quiet get away for a couple of days close to the North Cascades. We had hoped to see the fall foliage but it turned out we came a couple weeks early for the best of that. We stopped by the ranger station there in Darrington, and then drove up to Rockport and on to Newhalem to see what fall leaves we could. The cabin was quiet, clean and cozy. We loved sitting in the hot tub on the back deck and also sitting beside the Sauk River in the back of the property.」

「What a great little spot. We really enjoyed the one night that we got to stay there. The host was super generous and let us check in early. We really appreciated that. Over all of Barry cute, quiet, and comfortable place to lay your head at night.」

「Great house close to the Paradise entrance of Mt. Rainier. It had everything we needed as a family of four. Check in and out was easy and it was a great place to come back to after hiking. Only suggestion is to get groceries on your way to the house as there are limited places in the town to buy food. Would come back again!」

「The house is a lot bigger than I expected. It's cozy and fun with a group. The location is unbeatable. It's quite and just 5 mins from Mt Rainier NP. Matt and crew were awesome and super helpful. They were responsive and jumped in quickly when needed.」

「This was an excellent property. It was quiet and secluded just as advertised. The hot tub was so clean, they even have sandals for you to walk down to the hot tub. There is a trail leading to a waterfall that is one of the prettiest trails we took on out trip. The host had a book that had information on everything in the cabin and of all the dining and hiking in the surrounding area. Wonderful stay! 」

「Beautiful property, very nice escape for a few days. I will note that the cabin is definitely a bit tighter than expected, but nothing that can't be managed. The heaters are genuinely such a comfort, especially in the bathroom. It does look like the wood ceiling is warping a little bit, freaked my partner and I out for a minute, but nothing to be concerned about, I don't think. Overall, very easy stay, little in the way of complaints. If you book through a third party, I don't believe the rental...

「The grounds were beautiful! We loved the waterfall and stream! There were wild blackberries along the trail to the waterfall. The owner was friendly and accommodated us when we had to extend our stay due to car trouble. There are several cool projects he's working on. We would definitely stay here again. 」
