「Hard to say anything good when our room had a nonfunctional toilet filled with a ball of pubes.」

「If you like trains this place is for you. In all hours of the night it comes thru, shakes the building. Bars near by are loud, a lot of drunk people.」

「An absolutely beautiful property and staff were incredibly kind and helpful! We had a late arrival and the two young gentlemen were waiting at the dock and they helped my sister and I with all our bags. The entire property was very clean and there were incredible views of the water and golf course. Looking forward to returning!」

「Old somewhat charming inn. The staff was uniformly helpful and pleasant, by far the best part of the stay. BUT to get to our room required climbing a very steep staircase with luggage --beware elders. The room was goid-sized and clean with a fridge and microwave, BUT there was no closet (only a hall tree with one wire coat hanger), lights were dim, TV had limited channels, bathroom sink had only a slight trickle of water. Charm without amenities has its limits!」

「My family and I went here to celebrate my 45th birthday. This hotel was perfectly located only six minute walk to the pier. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. It was perfect for my four people family. The pool was awesome and warm and relaxing. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. We can’t wait to visit again. Thank you to the host for keeping such a well-maintained room. We had so much fun.」

「Pros - staff - distance to the pier Cons - loud gatherings outside at 6a even with the noise restriction from 10p-8a. - to go up to our room you had to walk by a group on the first floor and their cloud of cigarette smoke. - could be a little cleaner (dusty lights by bed, not clean under bed) - yes, there is train noise (shakes the to at times) but that’s not the hotels fault, it’s the location. I wouldn’t stay there again.」

「Great location, lots of history and character, and we enjoyed our stay overall. We had a room in the carriage house, and had a few issues with the TV not working, and the upstairs neighbor arriving and making plenty of noise at 1-2am, but the beds are comfy and the restaurant is excellent!」

「Everything is about this hotel works. There are notes everywhere and it's efficient. It is very clean, the personnel is helpful and it is very conveniently located right by the ocean. What I appreciated the most is the no-noise policy. There is no noise past 10:00pm and there is a very clear management rule about it. Bravo! This was the quietest hotel I have been to located by the beach that is peaceful. Thank you and your hotel is on my list of favourites!」
