“Perfecto para una estancia corta, aunque las instalaciones estan un poco descuidadas, el personal muy amable, la habitación muy limpia y con camas cómodas. El desayuno delicioso.”

“Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that……

“Parking was easy and secure. Staff was friendly and helpful. I felt at home here. The restaurant was good. The property has small maintenance issues, like not all lights in rooms work, or some curtains are difficult to pull. But this is minor. I highly recommend these accommodations. ”

“Beautiful property, wonderful included breakfast. Close enough to Samara to go into town. Did a spa treatment and it was ok, expensive for Costa Rica, and nothing special which was too bad when everything else was so lovely”

The traditional breakfast was fantastic and we have had it 100x before - they just do it better. After check out, they let us hang and relax by the pool as we waited for our shuttle, not making us feel rushed at all - very hospitable the whole time!”

“Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was fantastic and you could not beat the location. Pool was perfect. The only downside was the street noise. You could hear all the vehicles (we were on the main floor). Not a deal breaker for sure!”

“Had a booking confirmation but were told after 5h drive they didn’t have a room and it was ‘resolved’ with Expedia. Expedia ended up compensating but seemed to have been a maintenance issue on Belvedere’s side and bad communication. I highly recommend the hideaway hotel who ‘rescued’ us.”

“Stay was decent , staff was great. But the rooms didn't have hot water again. I stayed there in January and there was no hot water. The same thing happened this time. You have to fix the hot water. Thank you”
