“They don't have an operational pool and jacuzzi. You can tell they're working on it. The bed was comfortable and the hotel served its purpose. The coffee downstairs is amazing! It was quiet. The property was old and run down. There was stains on the walls and on a chair in our room. If you're looking for a place to do an overnight, it's perfect in my opinion.”

“Staff was great here. Good sized rooms too.”

“Great place!”

“The room was clean, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good. Large vanity in the bathroom was nice. Staff was friendly.”

“Good enough for what I needed”

“This was the perfect place for a quick 2 night mini-honeymoon after our wedding. The grounds and River House were beautifully kept. We rented a little EV cart to explore and it was the best decision, we really loved roaming around through the woods and taking in the beautiful scenery. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, the staff was very kind and helpful. My only wish is that there were options onsite for dinner and drinks at the cute little bar, but I understand the demand is likely not……

“We stayed here over the weekend and had a wonderful time and will certainly be returning. Debbie and her husband were absolutely fantastic and very communicative throughout our stay. The cabins were nice and cozy. We would recommend bringing bug repellent and bed sheets/blankets. The AC was really good in the cabin and we had a wonderful stay. 10/10 recommended!!”

“Outdated a little but nice! Very close to everything. Breakfast selection is lackluster but they had apple juice so I was okay :)”

“Rooms completely renovated. View of the lake from back was beautiful. Hot tub and sauna were excellent!”

“Had an absolutely wonderful time!”

“outdoor stairs were a fun adventure for us with a snow storm, but we made it. We really enjoyed the front porch and heater in there while resting and reading. ”

“Dog friendly translates to strong wet dog odor. Probably wouldn't bother dog lovers but is pretty intense for those not used to it. Make sure to toggle the expected guests when booking: despite no mention of cost differences by number of guests on Expedia, and the fact the default number is a passive default in the booking process, the owners charged us extra after we arrived for having our kids with us (we were still within the "sleeps 6" threshold). Not sure if that violates expedia' policies,……

“Loved our stay at the Wonder Woods Cabin! The cabin was the perfect size, very clean and had everything we needed. The game room was very nice and loved how we could walk over to The Strand for dinner! Highly recommend.”

“Nice and quiet.”

“Cute cabin, fully updated, dishes and linens provided, even pods for coffee maker. Only issues; next cabin renters blocked our parking, no lake views from cabins. ”

“This stay could not have better met the needs of our group. Everything about it was perfect and we cannot wait to return!”

“Everything was great, only wished paper towels and Kleenex were supplied. Also the water from faucets was very smelly..had to buy are own.”

“Was a great stay. My wife came up from Florida for the week. We took a weekend 3 day trip. I highly recommend staying. Thank you”

“Clean room with very responsive host”
