"This was the perfect little getaway for us! Log cabin in the woods without getting totally off the grid. Loved the sauna! Host was friendly, engaging, and accommodating about our late check out request. And, not having a long list of “to-do’s” at checkout was much appreciated and the perfect way to end the vacation. "The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Rooms are very dated. The fireplace in the room didn’t work and the phone in the room didn’t work when I tried to call the desk for assistance. The front desk staff wasn’t very helpful. View of the lake was the best thing about the property. "

"We had an absolutely incredible stay at this VRBO—truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had.Our family arrived on Friday—my husband and I, our three children and their spouses, and our seven grandchildren. We take an annual family trip each year, and this time we truly couldn’t have picked a nicer home.The home itself is stunning, perched high on a hill with breathtaking views of the frozen lake below. Waking up to that peaceful, picturesque scenery each day felt like something out of a postcard. On the other side of the house, there’s a walking and biking trail that stretches for miles, making it perfect for getting outside and enjoying the surroundings.What really sets this place apart, though, is how thoughtfully it’s stocked. The owners have truly thought of everything—plenty of towels, dishes galore, and even a high chair. We’ve stayed in many rentals, but this one goes above and beyond.Every detail has been considered, from the beautiful décor to the comfortable furnishings, and it genuinely feels like a home away from home. The grandkids especially loved the bunk beds—they thought they were the best thing ever! Everything you could possibly need is already here.If you’re looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway with all the comforts you could ask for, this is the place. Grab your coffee and a good book, sit out on the deck, watch a bald eagle soar overhead, and take in the calming sway of the tall pine trees in the breeze.We can’t recommend it highly enough "
