"Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had traveling. The owner was very unresponsive, the check in "method" was just terrible (go to a local store, the shop keeper there is confused and not sure what to do, feel like you have to haggle for the keys), then get to the apartment to be hit with the strongest smells that cause immediate headaches. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Taverna. It was absolutely beautiful, quiet and the location on the water was ideal. It was better then the photos that we saw when booking. The elegance of the grounds and the villa were truly special. We felt like we were the only ones there! Velda was very kind to us and made sure we were comfortable, etc. We truly had a memorable stay here!"

"On our last night of stay which was a Friday night there was a lot on the street caused by people from the bar. You could hear a lot outside during the stay but it did not bother us unlike the last night. "What an amazing stay! The check in staff was amazing and kind; the room was spotless upon arrival. The hotel breakfast is truly amazing, I cannot express how delicious everything was. Sad that we didn’t get to experience the spa but it’s nice that it’s available. The only downside is that the TV isnt a smart TV. Everything else more than made up for that. There’s also easy access to everything you’d like to do in Milan via the tram or walking distance."
