Right on the water, great views and location. Very close to Big M marina. Had a very slight issue with toliet running more than it should but host took care of it immediately and problem was resolved.

We enjoyed our visit. Loved the dock and boat slip. Wish there was more than one bathroom but all rooms with the exception of the bathroom were large, lots of room. The one bathroom was very small. Had difficulty with the digital lock as batteries were out. But we really did enjoy our stay!

We had a nice stay…it was quiet, a short walk to the dock and very close to the marina. The house has everything you need & was well stocked and clean. The beds were comfortable. The only downside was the deck and outdoor furniture needed cleaning and we were unable to use the grill because it was extremely dirty. Overall, we had a great time on this family trip & would recommend this place if you want to get away from it all and spend time on the lake!

Guys long weekend

Maybe our fifth time staying at Fish Hook. Love to escape there, great memories!! Haven't been back for 3 years, and seems the sulfur in the well water is much worse. Don't know what can be done to remedy that

This was a great place to stay! The house was clean and roomy, with a beautiful deck view of the lake. The dock made lake access very simple. My kids and grandchildren had an absolute blast fishing and swimming. We will be staying here again.

Very nice area in a peaceful cove. Dock worked well for us to lounge on & fish. Only issue we had was every time any water was ran, the pipes were very noisy. Good assortment of towels and fast response from the property manager. Overall a really good trip! Thanks!!

Family Stay

Very clean home, we loved the hard wood floors, the home was plenty big enough for 5 people. All the rooms were good sized. Full kitchen was great, as we ate all of our meals there. The bedrooms were nice size, and the beds were comfortable. The one bathroom is small but we all made it work. Having the dock for the boat during the day was very convenient. Literally the only somewhat negative was the AC, we all bring our own fans when we travel and had the one there going at all times, so it was fine sleeping and during the day if we were inside it was still cool.

Just us two..

We had such a good time at the cottage. It is such a nice place with all the amenities. It is very close to the marina where we were able to rent a boat for the day and also pick up some fishing bait. One thing we would have enjoyed at the dock would be a ladder to get back up on the dock. Otherwise you have to wade in in the mud, so you would want some water shoes. The owner was very helpful with maps and brochures of local attractions. Be sure to stop at the grocery store in Cassville before arriving. It's along winding road back. We want to return with our family and friends! We had a very nice, relaxing visit.

This was our 4th year staying here. Great location, nice neighborhood, plenty of room for all ages. Having the boat dock to use gave us more fun time. We will be back.

Could be great but not appropriate to rent in July and August.

Had I realized the AC of this place was a small window unit trying to cool an 1800 square foot place, I would not have rented this in the 100 degree heat of southern Missouri in July. The house wouldn’t cool enough to be comfortable for sleep until after midnight each night. And the dozen fans running to move air made it difficult to talk to one another. This will be a really great place when it has central air or more window units.
