Fabulous stay in Tuscany

I rented this stunning property for four days of a recent family trip to Italy. We were a party of eight, and everyone loved our time here. Our host Franco greeted us upon our arrival and even made pizza for us! He and his family could not have been kinder and their gracious attitude made our stay even better. The house is beautiful inside, and has every amenity, including a beautiful pool. We were sorry to leave—even my grandkids wanted to stay longer! A perfect place for a group vacation. Thank you so much, Franco.

Magical stay at the Stone Villa

We spent a wonderful long weekend at Franco's stone house. It was absolutely perfect for a group of 5 adults and 5 kids. The house was comfortable and spacious and the outdoor spaces were lovely. The kids barely came inside from the pool and the huge grassy area where they played soccer and baseball. And the grownups could watch them from several shady spots nearby. Franco and his family were wonderful hosts and the house was well equipped for cooking. His wife is a chef and cooked us a delicious family style meal one night. We enjoyed it so much we only left to go grocery shopping, even though there are many great places to visit nearby. We would definitely come back!

Paradise in Toscana

We rented the Stone House for two weeks in June 2017 in Orentano, Italy for a special family reunion and it was fantastic. Franco and his family were wonderful hosts, helping our family to understand the Toscana region; directions to many wonderful Toscana towns and villages and restaurant suggestions as well. The Stone House is big and beautiful - clean and well equipped and centrally located in the region- a perfect location near Lucca, Pisa, Firenze and many other beautiful places to explore. Our family had a great time (the swimming pool was amazing) and there is talk of visiting again in the future. We could not be more pleased with the beautiful Stone House and Franco and his family. We highly recommend this home and confident you and your family or friends will have a marvelous, once in a lifetime experience. Ciao - Jamie Ferrare

Great family vacation

We spent one week at the Stone Villa. There are many many good things to say about the place as well as Franco and his family. We have three children aged 7. 5 and 3 and it was the perfect place for them. You open the door in the morning and the kids do what they want, you don't have to supervise them. And there's lots to do for them. The boys loved the small football pitch with goals, there is table tennis table football and the pool. We used the pool the first two days before the temperatures dropped. It's very large and even has a small springboard. Franco put some toys out for the girl and she spent the whole day playing with them. One morning she came running telling us that new toys have been put out. The stone house itself is really nicely decorated. Everything is thought through, you feel more in a hotel than in a vacation rental. Plenty of towels, bath robes, really well equipped kitchen and everything in style. And they have everything, don't go buying toiletries, washing tabs. detergent etc. It's all there. And a lot of extras like a bottle of wine, morning pastries and so on. And if you need anything, Franco and family are on the property so there is always help around. The house is in a good location, no view from the property itself but you can reach many nice places within 45 minutes or less driving distance: Pisa, Lucca (totally worth a long visit, much nicer then Pisa, we loved it), Montecarlo nearby for a stroll or a lunch/dinner, the Pinocchio park and the Gardoni gardens, a trip to the sea etc. We had a really enjoyable stay, you feel that Franco and family are proud of their place and they do everything they can to make you feel welcome and that you are at complete ease.

We were very impressed with the owners and the property

The villa was perfect in all respects. Every room was equipped with all one would need. My feeling was that I could live there with my family and not have the need to replace or purchase anything. The cooking facilities and serving facilities were perfect. The outdoors with BBQ and lounging facilities were excellent. I would recommend to all and would love to return with my family.The owners were more than friendly and very helpful
