「The hotel was quite a disappointment. We were there as a couple and had booked all-inclusive. However, at check-in we had to pay over €150 extra for a club membership, which we didn't know what it was for. Included in the all inclusive package was the food, which was more or less the same every day and only water and wine from a tap to drink. We drank from plastic glasses. Every other drink, such as cola, had to be paid for separately with a card at 3.50 per can. I have never experienced...

「It is not a Bed & Breakfast ...it is an airBnB ! Welcoming was null , except an comunication by using WhatsApp. We never saw the owner. Parking is very far from room and it depends if you are lucky or not to find a place to park ! Breakfast is very poor it is only one coffee with only one croissant The only positive things is cleanliness of the room. No swimming pool as it was specified in the descriptif.」

「The main hotel reception, restaurant, bar and pool were lovely. The rooms very nice and clean however the decking on the lodges was appalling and very dangerous. Nails sticking out, cracked and rotten boards. You felt like you were going to fall through. Also in the restaurant they don’t chill or cover the deli meets and cheese so they have flies all over them and and dangerous to eat sitting in the heat for hours. If they fix those few things the place could be wonderful. But urgently they need...

「The service was great. We parked at the parking lot recommended by the hotel, and there was a free shuttle that took us to the hotel. We stayed in a separate room, which had a bit of a damp smell. The room was about a 5-minute walk from the reception and the breakfast/spa area — it took a few time to remember the route. But getting lost in Matera is also a kind of romance.」

「The owners, Gianna and Mimmo, are wonderful hosts—so kind and a pleasure to chat with. They gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and even gave us a ride into town, which was such a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was delicious, the grounds are spacious and beautifully kept, and the pool made for a very relaxing stay. There are also massages available on the property, which added to the experience. Overall, superb quality and highly recommended for a peaceful countryside getaway.」
