Often when you rent a place, upon arrival you discover that the photos were taken at a misleading angle, or that something about the place is not really as nice as it was spelled out to be. The opposite of that is the case with this place! It was spacious, comfortable, the view truly is breathtaking and it was spotlessly clean. “Sara’s place is very warm and welcoming, and she is a very kind host. The house is well equipped, and she thoughtfully left us coffee and cookies for breakfast. We were initially worried about the walk from the parking area, but although it takes a bit of time, it’s totally manageable — and it actually added a sense of adventure to our stay.We left wishing we could have stayed longer. Without a doubt, we would gladly consider this property again for another visit to Lake Como.”

“Monica and Paolo were amazing, they are great communicators and their place was spotless and modern, exactly like the pics. We stayed in 5 different places during our vacation in Italy, their’s was the best out of all of them. They sent us a list of recommended restaurants in the area, they also came to pick us up from the ferry, to drop off our luggage in the apartment before the check in time while it was being cleaned, and took us back to the ferry when they knew we wanted to explore Varenna……

“Beautiful and convenient location right on the water! Communication with the host was good. We arrived by train and had to find our way in the rain, and at night. I would recommend arriving in the light of day. The dark and rainy night made the navigation with gps a little difficult.The photos in the directions were helpful, however in the dark it was a bit unclear how far to walk after getting the keys. I kept wondering if there was a way to enter without going through the parking area. Great……
