"Due to Expedia overbooking our original hotel reservation, we booked this property last minute. We appreciated being accommodated with an early check-in, and the front desk staff was kind upon arrival. Unfortunately, the remainder of our stay was very disappointing. The noise insulation in our room appeared to be extremely poor and we could clearly hear loud yelling from people outside until around 2 a.m., which made it very difficult to rest. It felt as though the activity was happening directly outside our window. For what was meant to be a relaxing island getaway, the inability to sleep significantly impacted our experience. Overall, it was not a good experience, and we left feeling disappointed. We would not stay here again or recommend the hotel to anyone. "

"The website can be misleading. On their site it shows a view and acces to a bbq pit, however they do not clarify that its only available to their suite booking."

"We had room 11 which was quite quaint and comfortable. Though no direct view of the ocean, the front terrace did and we enjoyed our morning coffees from there! Enjoyed too the colorful whimsical mosaic tiling throughout the courtyard which gave it a beautiful Mexican charm! Location of walking convenience to all of Avalon! Staff were very gracious as well. Would stay again! "

"The Ocean was only a few feet from our hotel. so that was really nice. the staff were exceptional, the room was clean but it didn't have room service daily. the towels were the only thing i would give a small mark down for. other than that I have recommended this place to my family and friends"
