“The hotel offers its own parking, which is very convenient and a big plus, especially if you’re driving. The location is easy to find and check-in was smooth overall. However, there are a couple of downsides. The water pressure in the shower was very weak, which made showering a bit uncomfortable. Also, since the hotel is located right next to the street, it can be quite noisy, especially at night. Overall, it’s a decent place to stay for convenience, but improving the water pressure and……

“Beautiful place, peaceful, nice people, the only thing bad things i can say is that you have to drive like 5 mnts for the breakfast since the restaurants in the facility was out of service… try to stay at the other one thats called soficu on the beach, because is near all the attractions and restaurants. We tried getting transfer over to the other hotel, willing to pay an extra fee but everything was booked. Overall I loved it specially since is not crowded, my family was the only guess for the……

“The area looked beautiful in photos but it really was not feeling safe. We had an overnight before cruise and mainly just stayed in the room. The beach was lovely but we didn’t feel comfortable eating anywhere near this small hotel no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up stairs to higher floors. No where close to get a coffee in the morning.”

“We had an amazing stay at Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa. The staff was wonderful, the cleanliness was top tier, and the entire property was beautifully maintained. The spa was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of our trip. The food was great, there were plenty of amenities to enjoy, and the water park was such a fun bonus. Overall, a beautiful resort with excellent service, and we would definitely come back.”

“Playa Catalina Hotel really surprised me in the best way. It gives you that Punta Cana vibe but in a more local, peaceful area. The beach is just a 5‑minute walk, and having a pool available 24/7 was perfect. The rooms look like little villas — super cute and cozy. What made the stay unforgettable was the staff. I traveled with my elderly dad, and they treated him with so much care. They helped him with his bags, supported him on the stairs, and always checked in on us. Even the security team……

“Front desk was super accommodating and was able to get us checked in a few hours earlier than expected. They were friendly, helpful and the room was so clean and modern. The european energy saving amenties and fixtures were a first for us and we loved it!”

“Although we enjoyed our stay more towards the end, there were a lot of drawbacks. For one, our Junior Suite was located on the ground floor next to reception which meant we heard everything all night long. Not to mention the public restrooms outside of our hallway smelled like sewage which made our whole room smell like sewage during our stay. The buffet was lacking good food most days, and there restaurants were constantly booked even when we went to reserve right when concierge opened. There……
