Unfortunately the room was pretty tired and bathroom needed a good overall. Old marked shower enclosure. Crumbling walls round the shower unit. Shower coming away from wall and mould round taps. "A wonderful property in such a beautiful setting. Quiet and peaceful, surrounded by vineyards with views of Mount Etna and the village of Castiglione perched on a hillside. We loved having access to the swimming pool, the rooms are a good size and the food and wine was excellent. Massimo is a superb host and is exceptionally welcoming and very friendly, providing good local information. "We picked this agritourismo hotel for its proximity to Catania and the airport - as well as its value and good reviews. It is in the middle of nowhere but very easy to find off the A19 because it is well signposted all the way. It is 20 minutes from the airport IF there is no traffic, but it took us 45 minutes because the approach to the airport is terribly confusing and there were long lines of cars. So allow yourself plenty of time. It is an excellent hotel in a rural setting, but so close...

Les chambres sont simples mais d’une taille convenable, même si elle mériteraient un léger coup de neuf.
