My wife and I stay at Antico Borgo ant it was awesome. Rooms are clean very well maintained with great restaurant and plenty of space to walk around. Great views on Etna and sea from terrace. Super staff!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It felt like we were staying as a guest at someones home. The best part of this stay was the staff. Franchesca was a true pleasure. She made sure our stay was perfect and was always working day and night to make sure everyone was happy. Her mother Giusy was wonderful as well. She ran the breakfast in the mornings and helped out with guests as well. Was a great experience from staying at a regular hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful countryside getaway with great views

Nice place to stay if you are travelling near Catania. It is located between Catania and Taormina (both ~30 mins drive), so it was convenient for us to explore both. Limited dining options in the area and we have been told the on-site dinner is only available on Sunday and Monday. For us, we drove to Taormina for dinner which was lovely. The room was clean and in good condition. The extra heater was very useful as the weather was a bit cold. Basic amenities such as room slippers, shampoo, body wash and water are provided. The breakfast was more than enough with wide choice of bread, cheese, ham, eggs and fruits. The dining room had abundance of history as well. Overall the place was very quite and peaceful - we were not bothered by the noise from the roads like the other reviews. However on the night we stayed, the owner of the place had a mini party on the terrace until midnight with music. The building isn’t soundproof so we could hear the drum, the footsteps, etc. But everything went radio silent once it was over.

It's perfectly located between Taormina and Etna surroundings to spend some days around the area. Anyway, the best part of the place are the hosts and the breakfast. Francesca was the kindest person we found around Sicily and made us feel super comfortable. THANK YOU!

Allez y les yeux fermés.

Tout a été parfait. Francesca a été notre pilier de notre séjour. Adorable, d'une gentillesse hors norme. Merci à elle pour son aide du early checkin à la commande de la pizza. Petit dej très bien, chambre grande et confortable. une vue sur l'Etna superbe. Le vin blanc dans la chambre super bon. Une maison agréable. Nous sommes restés une nuit de plus du coup :)

Great property with very kind and helpful staff. Location perfect for visiting Etna, Taormina and other attractions, close to the very nice beach. Rooms are nice and comfortable, just rooms have a bit thin walls, but overall we would stay here again.

Bellissimo! Un angolo incantato! Immerso in una splendida vegetazione antico casale ristrutturato con gusto. Camere confortevoli; noi siamo in 4 e la camera era in realtà composta da 2 stanze, ciascuna dotata di condizionatore. Ottima biancheria, tutto molto pulito e curato nei dettagli. La signora che ci ha accolto gentilissima. Colazione deliziosa: ho gradito soprattutto la frutta fresca a volontà e torte e marmellate fatte in casa! Peccato solo per il rumore dell'autostrada vicina. Lo consiglio vivamente

Good Stay

Hotel was simple. We were under the impression that there would be dinner each night, but it's only available on the weekends. The room was very clean and simple. The breakfast was delicious! Fresh, homemade croissants each morning! The only downside was the the dark driveway. Coming back late at night involved unlocking/locking the gate, parking and then walking up to the rooms. It made me a bit nervous (and I'm a NYer) with how dark the property was at night. This was not a dealbreaker, but something to think about.

Sfeervolle en centraal gelegen agriturismo

Goede uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van de oostkust van Sicilië (Syracuse, de Etna, Taormina etc.). Een rustig (kiezel)strand op 7 minuten rijden. Dorpjes met supermarkt etc dichtbij. Er komt wel een trein langs maar ik vond dat zelf niet storend. Relaxte sfeer, ontzettend vriendelijke en betrokken eigenaresse en medewerkers. Ruime en sfeervolle kamers. Heerlijk ontbijt. Het eten in het restaurant (open in het weekend en bij gelegenheid) is superlekker. Echt een aanrader voor wie rust wil combineren met cultuur en strand.

Clean, great view but not sea view

The place is beautiful and in a beautiful location. The breakfast is good. Unfortunately, our room was right at the entrance so everyone passed back and forth and it was noisy. Also, wi-fi didn't work in the room, only near reception area. And of course sea view is only from the rooms at the top floor of the main building but not any other room. The owner seemed totally indifferent to the fact that our room stated "sea view".

Don't miss it! Strongly recommend it!

Fantastic place! Wonderful hotel (main building is dated from 1.850 approx!). Great garden with nice view and amazing breakfast and dinner hall. Roon was spacious and had everything, a/c worked perfectly, breakfast was really good. The only downfall is the distance from Taormina (approx. 15') by car, but when I get back I will definitely book again. Thank you Azzurra (our host) for your hospitality, suggestions and kindness. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Wonderful location and accommodations.

The owner Maria and the staff Juicy were outstanding. Maria wanted to make sure all of our accommodations were outstanding from the location and the comfort of the room to the meals served, The breakfast was great using local fruit and other products. The view of Mt. Etna was great each day..Highly recommend them.

Bello e accogliente

Un'ottima scelta per chi vuole visitare la zona di Taormina stando lontano dal caos. La struttura è molto bella, immersa nel verde seppur non troppo lontana dall'autostrada. Camera molto pulita, dotata di aria condizionata e ventilatore, servirebbero solo un po' più di ripiani/appoggi. Un ricordo molto positivo sarà senz'altro il personale sempre molto disponibile, cordiale e sorridente. La colazione è veramente ottima, con torte e marmellate fatte in casa e prodotti di alta qualità. In definitiva un posto dove credo sia difficile trovarsi male.
