“This is a good hotel built at a Services Area suitable for breaks in between journeys. Staying in for one night is nit a bad idea except that its location is not that easy to find.”

A damp smell in the room too. Told the hotel was full and couldn’t move to another room and had to go shower in another room. “The hotel is very well maintained, looks pretty good inside and the staff are very welcoming. The room was first class. Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable beds, first rate bathroom, all with a decent panoramic view. Everything we might hope for. Service in the restaurant was good, very attentive. Breakfast food would have been pretty good except that the hot food and drinks were all cold. But the lunch menu was disappointing, with heavy reliance on bread: sandwiches, toasties, pizza……

“Every where was immaculate, I had a single room and there was even an iron and board in the room, which was beautifully decorated. Cliff the host was so welcoming and the breakfast was delicous, so much choice always cooked fresh. Will definately be coming back”

“A modern and comfortable room, but the poor breakfast service let down the overall enjoyment of the stay. The rooms are well designed and high quality, although there were issues with our lamp (flickering badly, couldn’t use it) and shower (blocked plug hole, not draining). Maintenance issues were reported to reception, but as it was the weekend, I was told there was nobody available to look into it until Monday. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the rest of the room. Breakfast was disappointing.……
