“Our stay at the Honeycomb Hideout was extrememly clean, convenient, and met all of our needs for our stay in Cave City. The house was close to Mammoth Cave National Park, as well as Dinosaur World and other cave tours in the area. Check in was smooth and the hosts were accomodating to our needs with our children. We appreciated having the washer and dryer. Would stay here again for our next trip to the caves!”

“Our cabin was new and updated, cozy. Also, cabin was clean and all amenities were there: laundry machine, dishwasher, utensils, TV's. Purchase your own woods, it will be cheaper. Nice place for getaway. ”

“Had a lovely time at Little Bear Cove, was very well maintained and clean. Great place to stay for weekend with dogs and visit Mammoth Cave National Park. ”

“We thought the cottage was quiet and secluded. Everything was easily accessible and the porch was perfect for a morning cup of coffee. The firepit was far enough from the house to not make everything smell Smokey. Wildlife was beautiful to include a skink (lizard), deer, cat and a screech owl at night. The Lakeside Cafe at the end of the road was absolutely delicious! Pizzas were amazing and cinnamon rolls and breakfast casseroles were scrumptious before heading out to the caves. ”

“From check in to check out we had a great time. There are 98 stairs going down to the lake so be ready to exercise. It’s worth it! The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The property had everything we needed and more. Beach towels and life jackets were available to use which was really nice. It was dog friendly with gates on the deck. Hosts were helpful, friendly and responsive. 5 stars ”

“Our hosts were wonderful. Great communication, clear instructions. The house was immaculate and treats were left for our dog . We enjoyed the yard , the hot tub and all the amenities the house afforded. We visited Mammoth Cave and other attractions during our stay.”

The listing says "5 min walk to SEE the lake", but be prepared that you can't actually get to the lake, you can just see it from behind someone else's property.We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.”
