Relaxing in Cedar Key

The balcony is the best feature of the condo with a lovely view! It was very hot for our entire stay so the pool was 2nd best. The condo had most everything we needed, was very clean, lovely and comfortable. The kitchen is tiny but cooking is possible. We will consider returning here in the future! Thank you for the amazing week!

Stayed in neighboring apartment to family. Overlooking the water, great views. Everything we needed was in the apartment and the staff at Island Place couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommend.

FL Tour

We were totally surprised by this quaint, duly appointed condo. It was very clean and so well thought out. The best part was the time spent on the waterfront balcony. A vehicle is not necessary as Cedar Key is walkable. Hope to return one day!

Chilling in Cedar Key

Everything was exactly as described. The place was very well modernized and in excellent shape inside and outside. The locale was more low key than I expected, which is probably a good thing. Probably busier on the weekends. View of the Gulf was very good and the pool was very clean and clear.

Great rental!

We enjoyed the rental and the view, the decor was very nice as well! Only concerns were the lights in the bedroom didn't work, not sure if the bulbs were out. Otherwise it was great!

Phenomenal Visit!!

The rental had everything we needed. Close/Walking distance to everything. Restaurants had AWESOME Food. We went on Fishing Charter and Duncan's Restaurant was able to cook our Fish we caught. Yippppeeee!! Rental was nice and quiet and spacious and super clean. We will Definitely be back to visit Cedar Key. We rented a Golf Cart and everyone we came upon or passed was Extremely kind and waved. It was an Awesome Time with much relaxation. The Pool was super nice also. Thank you for an Amazing place for us to Stay. Hoping your day is Amazing!!!!

On-site support at excellent location

This was in an excellent location. We enjoyed the view from our balcony. Walking distance to all restaurants and the town of Cedar Key. Our only issue was that the kitchen space is very small so the kitchen cookware and utensils were limited; knives were a little dull. Overall, we would return to this location.

Perfect place for a quiet weekend!

Place looks as good, if not better than the pictures! Great location, parked our car on Friday and never drove again until it was time to leave on Sunday! Check in/out was super convenient!

Clean, Cute & Comfy

This is a great condo with an excellent location in Cedar Key. We came for the art fair. We have been to Cedar Key several times and this was one of our favorite stays, has a good balcony, easy parking, comfortable bed. Would recommend!

Condo is just as beautiful as pictured. Very happy guests!

Property couldn't be in a better location, very short walk over the bridge to dock street or literally around the corner to market. Loved sitting on the porch enjoying a drink. We'll be back!

Perfect spot to stay in Cedar Key

I honestly think that this condo at Island Place could be the best place to stay in all CK! First, the unit is clean, cute and comfy. The pool is a nice size and overlooks the water which was really nice. Although the weather was not so good part of the time we were there, we were able to enjoy being outside due to the great porch which also overlooked the water. The kitchen was equipped well enough that we had what we needed when we decided to cook in. Finally, the location of this unit was perfect. We could walk anywhere in town that we wanted to go. We rented bikes from Pirates Cove which also allowed us to explore more of the area by bike. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at unit 207 at Island Place!

The unit was decorated beautifully. It had pots and pans and dishes. Everything you could’ve went for a longer stay. However, I was very disappointed in quite a few things. The first switch was a pretty big deal. The property advertised that no smoking was allowed on premises and it was only allowed down at the barbecue area. This was untrue. Smoking was allowed on porches and the people next to us, smoked terribly stinky cigars and cigarettes that wold us in the morning and kept us from enjoying the fresh air on the balcony. The smoke actually made its way into our unit, while the windows and doors were open. Which was a shame because being on the water was the one thing we were looking forward to, a seabreeze. Not a cigarette cloud of smoke There were no sheets that fit the sofa bed. It was such a thin mattress that, the bars to the frame actually poked into your back. there were only two bath towels. I understand that we were only there two nights but, I have pretty long hair and it would’ve been nice to have a towel for both my hair and body. Especially since, one of the regulations of the unit was to wash your own laundry before you left, meaning put the towels into the washer before checking out. If I was doing laundry I wouldn’t mind doing an extra towel. Yeah shower squeaked the entire duration for each of us. I don’t know if it was a hot water pipe but that squealing sound was not very relaxing and the tub was not draining properly. The unit was very clean
