Perfect beach cottage

My kids and I had an amazing stay at this beach cottage. It was immaculately clean and fresh and right next to the beach. The short drive to Main Street Hyannis made this the perfect summer stay for us. Can’t wait to come back next year.

Cute cottage one block from beach

Perfect for a few days at the beach. The cottage and furnishings are definitely not new but it all works fine for a beach stay. Appreciated the beach chairs and fans throughout the house!

The cottage was perfect. It was so clean and it had everything we needed in it. It was nicely decorated. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all the basics and appliances. Being across the street from the beach was definitely a plus and the back streets of the neighborhood were beautiful to walk thru. The location was very convenient as well.

Amazing stay!

We spent the past 4 days at this property for a family wedding in Cape Cod. The location was perfect and allowed for easy access to the beach for some fishing and downtime. The house itself was perfect. Incredibly clean and well appointed. The provided linens and towels were fresh and clean and beds were very comfortable. The host communicated well and even shared with us some tips for where to go to enjoy a nice walk in the neighborhood. We will definitely be back to this property!

Perfect beach cottage

We (myself, teen daughters and 2 small dogs) had a great stay at this cottage. The proximity to the beach was perfect, just a short walk. The cottage is extremely well appointed and low maintenance. A standout amenity was the outdoor shower. Very clean and great water pressure ... the sun beams right over the wall in the late afternoon and it's very peaceful. The owner, groundskeeper, and property manager are all very nice! We are looking forward to staying here again next year.

Very Nice

The house was exactly what I expected. Very short walk to the beach, well furnished. My only complaint would be that the bed was pretty uncomfortable, but if you have a younger back it probably wouldn't bother you. The listing says to bring your own pillows but there are some there, just no linens. We went labor day week(not over the weekend) and the neighborhood was quiet. Not a long drive to food or shopping. Could easily walk to the pizza/Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood.

Cottage in Covelle beach area

We had a great time. We were especially pleased that the owner gave special permission for us to have the after memorial lunch at the house. The bathroom sink did leak. But when we told the maintenance man, Jerry, he got right on it. There were no cleaning instructions, but we did a bit. Close enough to The Centerville Country store to walk. Craigville and Covelle Beaches were within minutes. Perfect!

Cape cod adventure

Nice property. Clean and well cared for. Two bedrooms and bath were the perfect size for us. Small outside yard with grill picnic table and a couple of chairs. There was an outside shower which had we gone to the beach would have been perfect for washing the sand off and not tracking into the cottage. Good parking available and beach was a block away. So the location was great right in the middle of everything, to include a short hop over to the ferry’s. Noticed no A/C and only two space heaters to take the chill off the rooms

Beautiful spot!

The house was exactly what I was looking for — across the street from Covell’s Beach. Very nice outdoor shower and well-appointed beach shed. My daughter and I enjoyed a relaxing long weekend.

Property was pretty disgusting

Caveat that I know this is a dog friendly stay, and therefore I think cleanliness should be even more important. When we walked in we noticed the rug was full of hair (chunks) on top of being a nasty shade of brown. There were crumbs and hair all over the floor and the couch cover, plus crumbs on the stove. The bathroom floor and grout were absolutely disgusting. We called the guest contact and she returned my call within 20 minutes and showed up in another 20 with a vacuum and a swiffer,which was nice but honestly not enough. There is a vent in the middle of the living room with years of caked on dust, and I hated that my daughter was breathing that air in. Her socks were black at the end of the day. We left a day early... would not recommend staying here if you value cleanliness. Thankfully we slept on our own sheets.

Ideal setting

this is the best of cape cod - small home in a family centered community of rental properties across the street from the beach! Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, good bbq, newly renovated outdoor shower, seafood and ice cream in walking distance and a few minutes from Hyannis where there is plenty of everything!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

Only a few minutes (walk) from house to beach, you can't beat the location of this tidy two-bedroom rental. Fully equipped with a sizable gas grill, large picnic table w/umbrella, makes grilling and dining outdoors so easy and pleasant. The house is a duplex split so you'll be sharing the shed (beach chairs, boogie boards, etc.), trash/recycling and clothesline with other renters - but each side has its own outdoor shower. Owners/caretakers should provide a more comprehensive overview of all kitchen wares, as there's much more than what appears on the listing or we could get confirmation of. We recommend adding another lounge-type chair in the living room as the couch only seats two adults comfortably. Would also provide a full-size drip coffee maker (and avoid K-cups/non-recyclables). The development where the house sits also abuts the most beautiful lakeside neighborhood (historic village of Craigville) with protected wetlands, which is perfect for early morning runs and dog walks!

Easy breezy beach getaway

We have stayed at this beach house for a few summers and it is always great! Perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway. The best feature is that it is a very short walk to the beach. You basically just cross the street and you are there. No hassle with parking/permits. The place is small but clean and well-kept and has everything you need. I especially like the outside shower for washing off sand and clothes line for hanging up towels. Also the owner is really nice and accommodating. Even has some beach chairs/ umbrellas that they let tenants use. Not too many restaurants in the immediate vicinity but there is a nice ice cream/sandwich shop within walking distance. We usually just bring groceries and BBQ. Days are spent at the beach. Most of all everything is easy and relaxed -just what you want on vacation! I definitely recommend it.

High Enjoyment

This is a quaint cottage perfectly located just off of the beach. It was easy to find with plenty of parking. The rooms were a nice size and it had all of the amenities for both a short and longer term stay. The outdoor seating was great and we took advantage of some of the chairs and umbrellas provided at the site. We are already thinking of booking for next year for a return trip. The communication with the owner was very good.

Very close to the beach!

Great central Cape location. Clean and tidy cottage with beachy charm. Communication with the property owner was responsive and most helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect beach cottage

This property was exactly as described. Cozy, well maintained, and a short stroll to Craigville Beach. The property owner was super responsive and very kind, and I had everything I needed for my short stay. I highly recommend!
