「This place was a lovely retreat for my husband and I on our cross country road trip. The outdoor sitting areasvwere appreciated and the views were beautiful.」

「Clean room and great space.」

「We love this place and have stayed here several times. We highly recommend it for a Harrisonburg visit!」

「Very nice apartment in a historical building. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked. Everything was lovely. Owner promptly answered questions. I didn't realize how much traffic came through this town. Fortunately, the bedroom door blocked the street noise. It was a very nice respite from a long drive.」

「The house is on a beautiful piece of land! Very quiet and peaceful. The space is clean and spacious and as described!! Everything we needed! Will return!」

「Exceptional stay. If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to stay then this is the place for you. Comfortable, clean and near the attractions. Great communication from the owner. We enjoyed our weekend stay!」

「A very clean and thoughtful space. The description is very accurate. Sits on a beautiful property with a lovely view. Would stay again.」

「It was a little bit difficult to find at first but we're happy once we found it and got in. This is a fun little place to explore and a quick drive into Ruckersville and not a super long commute to Chatlottesville. This was a great little get away! 」

「The room was very clean and welcoming. 」

「A quiet serene atmosphere tucked closely to the main amenities of the retreat but still surrounded by beautiful scenery! The grounds were sprawling perfection of relaxation and beauty. The treehouse exceeded any and all expectations from comfort, cleanliness and cozy vibes. Never heard another soul as neighbors kept to themselves, however we were often visited by the friendly cats of the community. Coffee in the early morning hours with a book all amongst the backdrop of gorgeous trees & hilly...

「Property was just what we wanted: dog friendly, quiet, rest place while we enjoyed hiking in the Shenandoah Valley. 」

「The property was amazing, beyond wonderful. Gracious host. High end furniture and bedding. The backyard and pool area were just beautiful !!! I wish I stayed earlier in the year so i could enjoy the pool. The property is surrounded by wide open farm lands, Starry skies, birds and crickets. It was a very relaxing stay. I wish I could stay longer !!!」

「I had a very pleasant stay in the Farmview Cottage! It was easy to access per the host's directions and instructions, and the host was quick and communicative regarding all of my questions. The cottage looked like the pictures, if just a bit run down in the kitchen (to be expected with a vacation share), and provided a much-needed quiet retreat while I attended and helped set up my friend's wedding nearby. My only disappointment was that many of the accommodations of the retreat that I was...

「BE AWARE fellow travelers: WASP INFESTATION HERE. Owners are fully aware and unconcerned because it's "the mountains". I'm a country gal myself and well acquainted with the cycles of nature, but not cool to let things get this bad and not disclose it. We're not talking 1 or 2, we're talking several new visitors dropping in every day from the window frames or ceiling fan in the living room. One evening had one come down from the window and get aggressive while in shower. If not for this fact,...

「We were seeking a romantic getaway Valentine’s Day weekend. What we received was anything but. Supposedly the hobbit house was part of the White lotus echo resort spa which included various sauna, spas, cold, plunges, etc. when we got there late in the evening there was no directions no instructions and we finally found the “spa area” where nothing was on, or did not work. But the absolute atrocious part was that there were feral cats running around all over the property, pawing and scratching...

「This location is an amazing place to stay. The exterior is lovely, relaxing, private. If the weather is lovely you can eat outside, lounge by the pool, walk the grounds, hang out with cute cats. Note though that there isn't a place inside to eat or gather at table/use laptop etc.」
