“Our stay at Ocean Waves was beautiful. The house was immaculate and spacious with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and great room. All of the rooms have a fantastic view of the ocean. The back patio runs the full length of the house and has / 2 comfy lounge chairs, 4 more chairs and 2 tables. The view was spectacular ! Great for watching sun rises and moon rises. A short walk down the hill and you run into the gazebo with a large picnic table and benches. A few steps down and you are on the beautiful white……

The property is exactly as described, but I want to emphasize how peaceful it is—perfectly safe and serene, with only the sound of waves (and frogs!) in the background. Even during the strong winds from Hurricane Erin passing not too far from the Bahamas, the house remained completely quiet with all windows closed. “Stayed at the Sungate property with another family of 4. This was our first visit to Eleuthera and the other family we traveled with visits annually. Our host, Marco, was very responsive before the trip when we reached out with questions and was also very responsive and helpful during our trip. He was a thoughtful host, dropping off fresh, local fruit for us to try and extra coffee. The property was clean and spacious.
