“Didn’t like the breakfast.It was pretty basic no pancakes or waffles to cook .”

“It is a nice little place on the lake. I do feel however that the room could use a good update and that the furniture placement could be different to be more user-friendly. The room I rented said futon which was not a futon, it was a pull out bed. The area is a very small hometown. Feel if you're looking for the conveniences of fast food and such, you will need to travel elsewhere. I do wish the room did have a washer and dryer and a stove and sink which would have gave me more bang for my buck.……

“The hard boiled eggs and coffee were good didn't try any other breakfast items. Room only had a very small round stool, no chair. Doors are very loud when they close. Over all it was just ok.”

“The hot tub was lukewarm and we were told there was nothing they could do about it. The shower curtain rod was hanging out of the wall and the shower curtain couldn't close because of it. The beds are like concrete. Would not stay again.”

“The room was clean. There was no staff on duty. Anything you needed, you had to go across a very busy street to get to because they didn't have enough staff to keep the office open. Their sister hotel was across the street (Howard Johnson) and they handled everything from check in/out, to additional supplies, to breakfast. I've never seen this before! The few staff I dealt with were courteous. Wifi was an issue. The price was reasonable and the location to downtown was very good. Would I stay……

“Cute old motel. Upgrades are good, loved the no carpet! Perfect for our overnight stay. Wish I could have taken advantage of the fire pits, they looked marvelous!”

“It was noisy, apparently they allow gatherings in the lobby, so there was a gathering, very noisy, kids screaming dragging the chairs on the floor, adults having loud conversations. It also happened that my room was next to the lobby so the noise was loud. It probably did not affect rooms that were far away from the lobby as much. I did like the cleanliness of the place. It is very close to downtown Traverse City.”

“The room was extremely unsanitary. The bedding had a stain that looked like blood or some other dirty residue, which made me very uncomfortable and unable to sleep throughout the night. The bathroom was also in terrible condition. The bathtub was old, worn out, and covered with yellow stains. In addition, the front desk staff was very rude and impatient when answering my questions. I specifically asked whether Tesla charging was free, and the staff casually told me “yes,” but when I tried to……

“Only spent one night there as we were in town for a medical appointment. Check in by owner was very cordial and courteous, grounds and room were very organized and clean. Don't expect a lot of amenities, but all rooms have sunrise views, direct Lake Michigan access with beach chairs and a boat rental right next door. Almost forgot about the rooms shower, you'll love it!”
