"Loved this hotel. Close to Oxford Street so it’s easy to immerse into the nightlife or find something to eat nearby. I was super impressed with the cleanliness and customer service was top tier. The hotel takes you away from Accra without going anywhere. It’s such a lovely getaway from the hustle and bustle from the city. Had a mix up with receiving enough towels and it took a bit of back and forth for us to finally have one in the late hours of the night but otherwise it’s a hotel we will definitely do again "

Also, check out Mama Africa across the street for any of your souvenirs needs (not a paid ad, it's just VERY convenient). "

"A very basic stay but I got all I needed for a couple nights. My room included a TV, a desk, a mini fridge, some cutlery and dishware, a double bed, and a large bathroom with shower. I will say though that the pillows were so hard that they were unusable for me. There is a front desk and the staff were very responsive the couple times I asked for an iron or an extra plate. They were also kind enough to hold my luggage for a couple hours after I had checked out Would stay again if looking for something simple"

"My stay at the pelican hotel was nothing short of amazing. The staff was extremely hospitable and supportive throughout the entirety of my wife and I’s stay. We were visiting Ghana for a wedding and due to some wedding programming had to switch rooms on two occasions; the staff was extremely helpful in getting us relocated to our new rooms and ensuring that the room was up to par on a daily basis. Even the small details such as getting a small pouch of sweet and savoury plantain chips really made us happy to come back to the hotel each day. Also the food at the hotel restaurant was very good. We really enjoyed the whole grilled fish with yam chips. The entire team was great, but some of the folks that stood out for us were Michael and Vincent at the front desk and Shadrack, the security manager, who really took care of us and even helped arrange some sightseeing. Highly recommend!"
