“The old concept of offering genuine “service with a smile” is a rare thing these days but is alive and well in the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra. From first contact, the standard of customer service was exceptional. A 2-hour flight delay late made us worry that the free hotel transport would be long gone but as we exited Accra’s brand spanking new Terminal 3, it was great to see our name on a board held by the Regency’s friendly and approachable driver. Check-in was smooth and……

“The room was clean and spacious, with a good queen size bed. I asked for a quiet room, and the hotel made sure my request was fullfilled. Our KLM flight was at 10.15pm, and we wanted late check out at 6pm. Usually hotels in Ghana would charge a full night for such late check out, but the hotel gave us a very good offer. We are going to stay at this hotel next time we are in Accra. ”
