“The hotel staff was wonderful, breakfast was complimentary every morning. I didn’t get to enjoy the pool but the upstairs was very beautiful and the view was awesome. When the rain was pouring hard the light does go off but this hotel have a back of generator so you don’t have to worry about that being off for a long time. I enjoy everything about this hotel, and will be my go to hotel every time I visit”

“I really wanted to love La Villa, I think it was likely a great spot at a different time but unfortunately the property is pretty rundown and in need of some love. The restaurant and pool area is lovely, breakfast is great, location in Osu is also great. But the rooms unfortunately are really outdated. The shower in my room leaked into my bedroom, and I then realised it wasn’t the first time - the room had been smelling damp and there was damp/mold on the wall. The blinds broke and wouldn’t……

“Good value for money Hotel in central Accra, close to all ministries and business districts. The room was actually good size and bed comfortable. Lots of meeting rooms for seminars. Amenities (Pool and Gym) are decent. Staff was friendly, and the manager was willing to improve things when highlighted (more linen in the bathroom for example).”

“there were a few issues with things not working in the room, like the phone, toaster, microwave. Then the toilet wasn't flushing. i had to be moved to another room. that was inconvenient and took time from my exploration time. my room key stopped working several times and i kept having to get it reactivated. that was very annoying. otherwise it's a nice place to stay and the staff were nice. i really appreciated having a nice apartment to myself.”

“I cannot say anything negative but only positive. The room was immaculate, very clean and comfortable with everything you would require for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was very tasty and me being a vegan, there were options for me. The staff are very friendly, courteous and professional. The pictures do not do justice. I highly recommend this establishment and would not hesitate to stay here again.”

“This was my 4th stay at Urbano and my least enjoyable. I was extremely upset that the gym had no power and therefore only the treadmill half worked on 2 of my 8 days. The two other powered machines did not work. To top it off my wife’s cousin overhead two housekeepers saying disparaging things about my wife. I wasn’t told this until I got back to America. We often interacted with these staffers on our previous visits and always looked forward to seeing them and other staffers at the Urbano. As……

“It’s in a pretty decent location with lots of shops right at their doorstep, which is convenient. Only thing I didn’t like was that the rooms are tagged with their own automated power supply which isn’t controlled by the reception. The power in my room went off and I had to call up the host who wasn’t anywhere close by so I waited for hours without any power and ended up leaving disappointed and dissatisfied”

“Some of the staff were very helpful while others were extremely argumentative. My guests & I felt that there were many inconveniences including the elevator not working, requiring us to climb many flights of steps to our room, and varying water damage throughout our room itself.”
