“Just a very pleasant stay.”

“Acco guesthouse is a great walkable distance from a handful of dining options and shopping. The room we stayed in was very spacious and the beds were large and comfortable. The bathroom however, was quite tight. The shower ledge takes up a lot of room even though the shower is very small. The ledge also had a decent size chunk out of it which was a big hazard when we had just woken up in the morning and weren’t used to our surroundings. ”

“It was very comfortable and well equipped for 7 of us. It was a 5-10 minute walk into the town centre and a big shopping centre the other way. Lots of parking on the road and it was quiet. ”

“I loved this hotel!! It was 5 minutes away from the center of town, clean, modern, had a pullout couch and a table for three and a nice balcony. There are fridges in the rooms as well as coffeemaker and safe. I don’t understand the negative reviews. It was a nice basic facility that doesn’t pretend that it’s some luxury hotel. The room and bathrooms are large. There are even hot tubs you can use. Check in was easy via email. Best value for Iceland”

“This was a real treat and was like a mini vacation within our vacation. The location (quiet solitude, views, surrounded by the horses), all the comforts of home (to sit on a real couch again even lol) and being able to make our own meals and enjoy a private evening in the hot tub were just what I needed.”

“As beautiful as the property was, the condition of the showers were poor and made this stay very hard. We emailed the property owners after the first day that one shower was not draining, and the other shower had a showerhead that was coming out of the wall. They communicated back that they were going to send somebody to fix it, but no one came. The last day of our stay, somebody who looked like a property manager, perhaps showed up at our property unannounced and looking around the property……
