“Overnight stay to be able to attend Ship Chic in Shipshewana. Needed a place with 4 bedrooms for 4 adult females. Emma’s place fit the bill. Great communication, adorable house. Only issue was garage next door had roofers starting at 7:30 am and property owner has no control over that. We’re hoping to travel up that way again and would love to have a repeat stay at Emma’s Place”

“We travel to Shipshewana every spring to meet family from Indiana and have stayed in many different hotels and rentals. This one was a favorite for everyone the location was perfect the house was beautiful, clean and cozy! We all decided we would be returning! The owners were so nice and the personal touches were so thoughtful!”

“This is my second time at the property. It’s just as incredible the second time as it was the first time. I hosted our staff retreat there. 11 of us ladies fit very comfortably as it is so spacious. We had a wellness retreat. The pool and hot tub, amazing grounds and incredible house made for the perfect setting. I highly recommend and the hosts are always excellent and accommodating!!! Don’t think twice, book it!”

“This home is very spacious and private. I stayed here with my family. We had a total of 9 adults and 4 teens. There was a lot of room and we did not feel like we were on top of each other. The kitchen was well equipped with supplies for cooking. The home was clean upon arrival. The owner was great! He had great communication before our arrival and was great about checking on us during our stay. We would absolutely love to rent this home again if we were to return to Michigan.”

“We love this home !! There are 12 of us that vacation together each year . There is 2 kitchens, and 3 full baths plenty of room. We love the decks neighbors are vary nice, in a area that is kind of privet , if you like Antiques a short drive to Allen MI is a lot of fun . Lots of good places to eat , good fishing great boating all around Beautiful Experience !!!”

“We enjoyed our weekend even though we had a lot of rain. Visited Shipshewana as it was not that far south from the house. The lake looked wonderful even though weather did not permit us to enjoy it. Couple of items worth noting are the front door really needs a step added. It is a giant step down going out which can surprise you. Also the plateware has a gold metallic ring design which when used in microwave will spark. Not good. We used paper towel to heat items in the microwave. Overall a nice……

“The picture do not do this place justice. Absolutely gorgeous cottage and Absolutely the cleanest place ive ever stayed. The stairs are not as intimidating as they seem and the water is so clear you can see the fish swim from up on the deck. Stunning Lake and Stunning views off of any deck. I got ot meet Ryan as I extended my stay and neither of us had done it before but he was super helpful and when the code changed back and i got locked out , I texted Ryan and he was there within 10 minutes……

“There was 6 of us we were celebrating Mikes 60th Birthday. We decided to get out of Ohio and do something different so we found this place. We loved it it was beautiful and had a blast and will definitely coming back soo . The owner was very nice man, I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.
