“Overall, we had an acceptable stay, and there are several things this property has going for it. Communication from the host was excellent before and during our stay, check-in was easy, and the checkout process was refreshingly simple. The home was also clean when we arrived. The location is another major plus—it's in a charming neighborhood with convenient access to downtown Opelika, including excellent restaurants, coffee shops, and local shops. That said, prospective guests should know that……

“clean, cute, eclectic property! would definitely stay again!”

“Pluses:Our time with gathered family was priceless. The inside of the house was great- just like the pictures. Beds were super comfortable and towels plentiful. Also, we had our choice of tools in the kitchen for cooking. Blackstone grill top was a big plus, as well. Cons:Many rugs and the outdoor porch furnishings were quite stained. We laid towels down on the screened porch sofa to sit. We removed the leaves and sticks on the porches and unfortunately, the promised hammock and dining umbrella……

“Everything was clean and comfortable for our stay. Close to the graduation that we were in town for. Nice deck out back to enjoy meals with family”

“Very lovely house on a pond. We rented this house for all the bedrooms and beds, and it was large enough for an offsite business meeting. Beautiful spot for photos (if I could have remembered to start my video anyway…) Host met us at the house to welcome us and give a tour. Cannot wait to come back (when it’s a bit cooler). Very responsive hosts! Thanks for renting us your lovely home!”

“Nice property will stay again.”

“This was so perfect and very nice. I love the communication and the puzzles. Every time i visit i will definitely be booking this house again. As well as recommending to my friends and family.”

“The cottage was nice. No TV or Wifi and service was spotty. We had an issue with hot water being off because of lightning but the reset button was on an outlet in the kitchen. The owner lives on the property, and is always there to help. Very remote but peaceful stay. ”

“Great getaway. Really relaxing.”

“We loved the quiet seclusion of this place. It was absolutely adorable and the screened porch was great in the evenings. Can't forget the deer I also saw one evening.”

“We had a great time for the 2nd visit. The house is beautiful and so clean. It had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful! The docks were enjoyable. My grandsons love the paddle boat, kayaks, paddle boards, and floats provided. The host and hostess are so nice and very accommodating. We hope to stay here next summer too.”

“Was perfect for our needs. Clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Manager was very responsive and helpful. Cleaners were very nice but were late in finishing so we checked in 45 min after check in time. However the manager let us stay 30 minutes later on the check out day. About 15 min from downtown Columbus in a quiet neighborhood. Close to a very nice grocery store too!”
