Ce petit studio est idéal pour 2 personnes qui veulent rayonner dans la vallée de Chamonix.

Dépaysant, sportif mais logement ....... !

Un endroit où l'on est tranquille et qui mérite d'être visité pour les amoureux de la nature : Argentière. Mais si vous voulez être heureux d'arriver dans votre logement passez votre chemin. Un montant exceptionnel pris pour le ménage mais à priori soit elle ne vient pas soit elle s'en fou de l'état dans lequel elle laisse le logement : POUSSIERE un peu partout. Une annonce avec une photo principal qui montre une salle avec deux lumières qui marchent mais en arrivant une ne marchait pas et n'était même plus vraiment fixée au mur, un rideau qui à priori à changé de couleur (blanc sur la photo et gris en réel : Pensez à remettre à jour peut être). Un séjour qui restera dans notre mémoire mais pas pour les bonnes raisons. Et que dire de l'agence qui s'occupe de la location : c'est littéralement la première fois que je quitte un logement en rendant les clefs sans que l'on ne me demande à minima si mon séjour s'est bien passé, alors que je pense que c'est la moindre des choses mais bon désormais une agence ne gère plus la qualité d'un séjour mais uniquement l'encaissement de la réservation.

Walking distance to les grands montets

Nice little efficiency apartment, it is a good size for one person or a couple. It does have the futon so could have more but it’s tight. There was the bare minimum of what you need in the kitchen to cook some basic meals so that’s a plus. Being next to the front door it was loud at times mainly when families were coming back from dinner and in the morning they would boot up on the stairs right outside your door. Not a problem if you are getting up early to ski but if you want to sleep in be aware of the shouting children alarm clock. The location is great right in the center of town so it is a quick walk to the train, shops, restaurants, garbage disposal and bus stops. You can catch the bus to grands montets but it is an easy downhill 5 min walk right to the lift. Check in and out does require going to the office a 5 min walk from the apartment which is slightly inconvenient compared to a lockbox at the apartment itself but not a deal breaker, they gave clear instructions on this so you won’t be caught off guard. Overall this is a great place to stay to see the chamonix valley especially if you want to be close to the best mountain for a powder day with some of the most challenging slopes,

Great but room for improvement.

Overall it was good . There could be improvements: I was expecting Wifi. Instead I was offered mobile internet. I did not bother to take up the offer as I already knew this was poor. I was offered an extra heater to make up for poor heating. In fact this could more easily have been remedied by installing new insulation for the sliding door. Finally the salt/gritting of the path was inadequate. Several times I slipped on the ice. However, the folk at the office were great and as helpful as they could be.

Communication parfaite, Salomé est une très bonne hôtesse, très disponible et compétente. La propreté est parfaite, l'équipement est sommaire mais complet. A conseiller!
