Stalos Crete home nice retreat

The property was just right for us. The drive up the mountain is not for the weak of heart though as most of the climb is on steep and narrow roads. That said, most folks take it slow and work together to get where they need to go safely. The view was stunning and the atmosphere relaxing. Pool was key. We did not stay long enough to use the grill or pizza oven but it was fun to have.

Amazing weeks stay.

We had a fantastic week. If you're after privacy and away from the busy tourist areas, then villa Jokasta will deliver. The villa lived up to to it's description and did not disappoint. A hire/rental car is essential, and the roads to villa are an adventure. But, once at the villa the drive is soon forgotten.A small maintenance issue with 1 of the toilets. But as there are 3 bathrooms in the villa it really wasn't an inconvenience. An email to the owner to report the problem received a reply within 24 hours. If you want to be near the sea, bars and restaurants then this is not for you. The kitchen, whilst small, has everything you need. The outside barbeque was a nice feature.If you want privacy, views of the sea and mountains, want to relax by your own private pool and don't mind driving to get to the "action" then give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.
