Chard looked fine, we didn't spend much time there though, we were visiting other attractions.
Chard has many shops, pubs & take- aways. Really handy for visiting surrounding areas such as llminster another pretty village with shops , places to eat & drink etc.
The local museum is worth a visit on the main street. Staff are very knowledgeable. Lots of amenities nearby. bars, restaurants, cafes, shops etc...
Just that it was a pleasure to stay there a querky building just off the high street with ample parking at the back of the building
All aspects of this hotel are to a high "flagship" quality.
