Along the scenic Deerfield River, The River House is a spacious, inviting getaway on 2 private acres.
Minutes from Berkshire East Mountain Resort - skiing, rafting, and hiking, ideally located between the Berkshires (North Adams & MASS MoCA) and Pioneer Valley (Shelburne Falls) our home offers the ideal balance of culture, nature, and adventure.

This all-season retreat is perfect for outdoor lovers, families, or remote workers seeking peace, adventure, or both.

Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living areas, and plenty of space to gather, play games, or simply relax. With multiple bedrooms and flexible sleeping arrangements, the home is a family-friendly, comfortable accommodation for getaways.

Outdoors, take in mountain and river views from the porch, enjoy dining al fresco with our outdoor furniture, roast marshmallows by the fire pit, or explore the private riverfront — perfect for fishing, or soaking in the natural beauty of the Berkshires.
Ideal for families, couples, friend groups, or working remotely, this house is the perfect launchpad for exploring the best of Western Massachusetts — from MASS MoCA and mountain adventures to waterfalls, artisan shops, and scenic drives.



Rooms description:

First Floor:
Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen perfect for home-cooked meals, a cozy dining room, and a spacious living room with plush recliner sofas for ultimate relaxation. This level also features a full bathroom, washer & dryer, and a serene king bedroom — ideal for unwinding after a day of adventure.

Second Floor:
Upstairs is where the fun and flexibility shine. There’s a kid-friendly room with three twin beds, a second king bedroom with adjustable beds and Roku TV, and a versatile office/lounge room featuring a queen pull-out sofa, desk with monitor, and a Roku projector for movie nights or presentations.

A second full bathroom serves this level, along with a one-of-a-kind themed entertainment room featuring a coffee station, two-player retro game console with hundreds of classics, bar, board games, and access to a porch with breathtaking views of the Deerfield River and mountains.

Outdoor space
Step outside and enjoy a large porch with a dining table, rocking chairs, and a Blackstone griddle — perfect for grilling with a view. The backyard, part of a 2-acre private field, features comfortable outdoor sofas, a table, and a gas-operated fire pit, ideal for relaxing evenings under the stars.

Everything was clean. It was a little understocked with mugs and blankets, but we had a lot of people with us. The decor was not our taste. And the lighting was harsh, but we were grateful for the comfortable beds and clean bathrooms with good showers overall we felt safe and in a beautiful setting. The backyard view was gorgeous and the stream is beautiful.
