Quick trip

Only had one night in Charleston so we wanted a place close enough to shops and restaurants. This was a perfect spot. Onsite parking was a bonus. Beds were also very comfortable.

Lovely home and perfect location.

This is an well maintained and very clean comfortable property, very close to lots of great King Street restaurants and bars. We were able to walk the entire city and never had to move our car from the driveway. Ideal location.

Perfect Girls Getaway

We had a great time celebrating a birthday in Charleston. The Chic Retreat met all of our needs. Comfy beds & living room, kitchenette w dishwasher, full size fridge & little dining table. Easy 2 short block walk to upper King Street and off street parking for one car.

Great place, perfect location

While the outside appeared beat up a little, the interior was great. It had everything we needed and was clean. The showers need a little work but other than that it was great and a perfect location. I’m keeping it on my short list for future stays.

Great little place for a family!!

We had a great stay at this cute little location close to everything in the city. All of the things we did were within 15 min of our location. We had a convenient parking spot off street several ft from our front door. It had 3 nice sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Nice sized living room/ kitchen area as well.Would stay here again! here

4 Alarm Fun!!

Great location to King Street. We would stay here again, walkable to tons of fun!! Thankful to have our fur family stay with us, pefect dog friendly vacation (shops, restaurants, attractions were pet friendly). Fire stations right down the street, tons of coffee options. Responsive service from host.

Annual girls trip

The best thing about the property was the location and the bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable and it’s nice to have a king size bed. The rest of the house was kind of shabby. The showers were gross. They definitely need to be gutted and replaced

Girls Trip

The location was perfect!! We felt safe the whole trip! The beds were so comfortable. I would stay here again. I would like to see more ice trays in the freeze and more toilet paper in the apartment. Other than that the stay was awesome! Thanks for having us.

Amazing location!

We had six people stay in this house and it was super comfortable. The check in process was smooth and we even got to check in early! They offer a grocery delivery service which was great because when we arrived, our fridge was fully stocked! We went to some amazing restaurants near the water, golfed, toured the USS Yorktown, and went to a lot of fun bars. It is a very walkable town and so much to do, a lot of great history too. The host was very responsive and we didn’t have any issues. Overall a great stay and would 100% comeback!

First floor flat

Great location to walk to many things along King St. There is an upstairs apartment as well. Lucky had fairly quiet people staying there. The kitchen is very limited. We had already planned to eat out a lot so was not really an issue for us. Noise machines very handy with Cannon St traffic. Very clean when we arrived. Having 1 on site parking space was nice.

Location is key 🔑

This home was in the perfect location. We didn’t have to drive any further than 25 minutes to any activity (and that was to Mt Pleasant.) Most places we needed to be were walking distance. The home was clean, the host had great communication, and the listing photos were accurate. It’s on the smaller said but was fine for our 5 women. The bathrooms, specifically the showers, could use a facelift but they aren’t bad. Great air conditioner (that’s important we learned lol). Would stay here again!

Charleston - the Good and the Bad

Location of property is great! The place we stayed was not so good. The beds were great but bathrooms were awful. There is a reason they don’t show photos of the showers/baths online. Mold behind the caulk, dirty shower, terrible workmanship…in need of some major renovation in the bathrooms and a new cleaning crew. I am always less concerned about aesthetics and more concerned about condition. Place needs some care and work. But I guess we paid for the location and that was a plus.

Charleston Stay

The property was nice and everything was good The parking situation was kind of an issue, but we managed. One thing I would suggest is putting in a handicapped toilet and possibly a hand grip. We moved a small table into both bathrooms, because there was no place to put our "stuff". You asked, haha Other than that it was good.

Great stay!

The location was excellent! King St was a block away and there was a fabulous bagel shop diagonal from the property. There were three good size bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bathrooms were a little run down and could use a face-lift. We were 6 adults and we were all comfortable sitting in the living room. The only problem was that the property sits on a busy street and it was very loud at night. People were talking, yelling, and laughing and you could hear everything. We were also on the first floor and when the upstairs guests arrived it was extremely loud and difficult to sleep. However, you really got a flavor of Charleston living and we enjoyed our stay.

House cleanliness was immaculate. Short on on seating for a 3 bedroom house. Dated. Pergo needs replaced. Poor job with hall bath flooring. Sound machines were almost enough to cover street noisre. Beds uncomfortable for 2 of 4 of us. Linens perfect.
