"The beach is unique for the USVI in that it is rather protected but still offers waves, and it was easy to find loungers and seek service there. Our only challenge was traveling with my Father, who has Parkinson's Disease, and while most shuttle drivers and other staff were extremely helpful with his unique needs, one driver made him climb into the back of a shuttle (with his cane, so his disability was quite obvious), after pulling forward, making poor Dad walk another 60 feet to reach him. I'd just ask that folks be more aware and empathetic when older people with disabilities when they travel.
Otherwise, we were thrilled with the food service and especially some very special servers who made our brief stay en route home from St. John very relaxing & special!"
