Stay Awhile is truly a home you won't want to leave! This great lakefront house sleeps 16 on the shores of Lake Norman with a private pool, dock bar, basketball hoop and fire pit. Pets considered with a fee, please inquire.

This mid-century home boasts 3600 square feet with five bedrooms and four full baths to sleep 16! The grounds and outdoor spaces give guests ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and escape the stress of urban life without leaving behind any of the luxuries.

Step through the double door entry way into a large foyer with a closet and storage bench. You will find the tile flooring and padded seating area a warm greeting as you enter your retreat. As you walk down the hall, there is a large laundry area and full bath with a new glass shower prior to entering the kitchen and built-in breakfast nook.

The bright kitchen is fully equipped to handle any occasion, whether it's an elaborate holiday feast or simply feeding a growing family. Keep the kitchen stocked with all their favorite drinks and snacks because you have all the space you need. The kitchen's built in table offers the perfect space for your everyday meals, quick snacks, and breakfasts. The adjacent dining room is great for sit-down family style dinners and is elegantly furnished, making it the perfect setting for even the fanciest occasions.

Off of the dining room are two large gathering rooms. The game room has large windows with great deep channel views of the lake and pool while you play billiards. There is a bar area and built-in seats for guests to sit and watch. Under the bar is a mini-fridge to stock your favorite beverages, adult and children alike. The adjacent living room provides a large sectional with seating for 8 to enjoy the 76" smart tv as well as Bluetooth speakers to enjoy your jams!

On the main level there are two bedrooms. There's a spacious lower master with large windows that allow you to wake up to the sunrise over the pool and lake. The ensuite bath features dual sinks and a large, walk in shower with a glass door. Behind a glass door you will then find a kid's retreat. This bunk room hosts three sets of built-in bunks. The kids will have a blast sleeping there and be able to enjoy movies and games in the hidden kid's TV area with a queen sleeper sofa. Perfect for a kid's sleepover!

If you head upstairs there are three well-appointed bedrooms and two full baths. On one side of the upper level is a second master with en-suite bath including a steam shower, large walk-in whirlpool tub and heated floors. The other side of the upper level provides two more bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with 2 queen beds. All bedrooms have 60" flat screen TVs. A hall bathroom sits between them with a full tub, shower and dual sinks.

The outside of Stay Awhile is an entertainer's dream! Multi-level decking allows the whole family to spread out and enjoy all the activities, including a fire pit, corn hole, and Connect Four. Enjoy morning coffee on the covered porch sectional as the sun rises over the lake. Down a few steps is a propane grill adjacent to a large U shaped Tiki bar complete with stools, TV, and a fridge. Many evenings can be spent with family and friends at the bar!

One of the few Lake Norman rental properties with a salt water pool, this home is sure to be a hit with the family. Your family can stay warm and recap the day's fun over classic s'mores at the poolside fire pit (firewood provided). The salt water pool is a great addition to this area as you can enjoy the sun from your chaise lounge while kiddos swim nearby.

Next is the dock, which has a pontoon available to rent! Conveniently located on the dock are all of the fun lake toys which include: a kayak, a paddle board, and an assortment of life jackets.

- For boat rentals, please reach out to us at least 24 hours before your stay.

- Spices/Oils, Etc: These items are not guaranteed. Sometimes they are left behind and available, but they are cleaned out regularly.
- This home allows up to 2 pets for a fee; undisclosed pets brought without AvantStay’s approval may result in a $500 fine per pet.
- No events, group gatherings, or parties are allowed at any AvantStay property under any circumstances.
- This home does not offer pool heat.
- Due to natural fluctuations, we’re unable to provide specific water depth information at any given time. The majority of docks in this area are generally suitable for most average-sized pontoons and ski boats. However, since boat drafts can vary, guests are encouraged to refer to Lake Norman nautical charts, GPS systems, and depth maps—and rely on their own knowledge of their vessel’s specifications—to ensure safe navigation.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we cannot always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
