“My sister and I went up to go shopping and it was great just a short walk to stores and restaurants.”

“loved this cabin. Richie was very easy to communicate with. The lake is literally steps from the patio. It was peaceful, clean and charming.”

“Very pleased. Although the mattresses on the beds are very hard. Would suggest the following to make guests more comfortable: hooks for clothing and wet towels. There is no place to hang anything in the bedrooms or bathrooms. Waste basket in bathroom. Fitted sheets on bunk beds. Another chair by the couch area. Stools at breakfast bar nice. Take the plastic off light in bunk bed area. Not safe and could melt to glass if it hasn’t already. New Broom. I will upload photos. ”

“Well it was a good location upon arrival we found the cabin a bit dirty but within 5 minutes of me contacting the manager they had things back in order. The motel could be updated but the cabin was wonderful. Unfortunately they were doing road construction so it was a bit confusing to get in the parking lot wish they would have told us that before hand. Overall rating was a 5 because we were happy with how everything turned out. We would stay again. ”

“After reading the reviews I was a little worried on booking, but I was like hey everyone has a different experience. The house was very clean! Our favorite view was from the backyard/sunroom. Nothing beats that beautiful view! The only thing bad that I have to say is if you like a little night pizza to snack on bring your own pizza cutter! But otherwise our stay was wonderful. The host communicated back with us in a timely manner. I would definitely stay at this location again. ”

“We loved the house. The location is absolutely perfect. Al is a great host and was so welcoming. Our kids loved searching for petoskey rocks, and Al was able to give them tips on where to search. He was so kind and also gave them several polished stones. We loved exploring Petoskey. Bear River Park was a really near area right in the middle of downtown. Thanks Al, and we can’t wait to come back! ”

“This truly felt like a home away from home for us! Me and my girls were in between moving in and out of different homes and spent 10 nights here - It was perfect and what we needed during the transition! Being right on the water was a dream come true - especially the views waking up first thing in the morning and then around sunset.
