Centre of Stow for 2+ small 1

Convientient location to walk into Stow on the Wold. Own parking spot. Ok for a short stay not really equiped to do much self catering. 3rd bed is small and table only seats 2. Comfortable for a short visit. Small garden with seat. Plants have grown over key box and door and through one window!

Close to amenities

The cottage is in an ideal setting and quiet location within Stow. Parking is easy on site. The accommodation was comfortable but I have marked it down as the mattress in the main bedroom was not comfortable. Also we could not find any guest information with regard to how to work the appliances, how and where to dispose the rubbish and the recycling information for that area. No details of emergency services i.e. doctors, local hospitals etc. No previous guest recommendations for places to eat, visit etc. This would have been so helpful.

Fab little break in Stow

The apartment was immaculate and had everything for a comfy stay. Close to market square rd lovely shops, pubs and cafes. With on site parking it was a good base for visiting all The National Trust places and lovely towns in the Cotswolds.

Short break in Stow-on-the-Wold

The property was in an excellent position and overall was very good. It was lacking in some basic items in the kitchen area (a peeler, small preparation knife, can & bottle opener), which we reported the day after our arrival to the office, these were sourced by the caretaker who left them in the property that afternoon. Attention to detail like this could make this a 5* property, but overall the fixtures were very good and we would return to stay here.

Great location with the bonus of parking

School House Cottage is perfectly located in Stow-on-the-Wold, within easy walking distance of the shops and places to eat. Having a parking space was a real bonus. The cottage was in a lovely quiet location, was clean and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Communication was great, with clear instructions on the location and how to access the property. Unfortunately the bedding and towels smelt musty and damp, as if they had been stored whilst not completely dry. The extractor in the bathroom was very noisy and didn’t appear to be working well, if at all. Despite these small issues we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend if you’re visiting this area.
