“Room was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. We found the restaurant on site to be pretty good and the cafe was nice to have for a morning coffee. Pool area was clean, and honestly you can't beat a hotel right on the beach! Overall great experience and would stay again!”

“A lovely property - not fancy but comfortable clean rooms, well-maintained with everything we needed. Very friendly and helpful staff, and very good food. A note for North Americans - outlets are 220v so bring power adapters. A fun location to see the comings and goings of the marina, with a nice, very quiet pool. We are looking forward to staying again on our next visit.”

“Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms typical Holiday Inn which is what we needed for 1 night. Spacious, clean and comfortable! Great little restaurant very close by. Easy walk. Grocery store and pharmacy also close by and easy walk. Only complaint is bathroom light is motion activated so when you get up in the middle of the night it comes on. Bright and shocking! ”

“Outstanding staff. I didn't really need help with anything, but I saw they were helping many other guests with myriad transport issues. Oh, and compliments to the chef! It's not a convenient walk to downtown/beach, but they offer free shuttles back and forth roughly every 2-4 hours. ”

“An absolutely incredible experience; start to finish! Pre-departure, the hotel staff ensure smooth airport transfers as well as a full menu of daily activities to consider. Upon arrival and throughout our stay, Mandarin's hotel staff exceeded our expectations. There is plenty to do on the premises and the food was excellent. The surrounding restaurants are also terrific and everything is a short drive from the hotel. Highly recommended. ”

“Pros: The staff were fantastic - the night security guard helped us find a taxi driver when we didn’t receive a response from the front desk, the restaurant was delicious, the balcony and views were beautiful, the room was clean upon arrival and the AC worked well Cons: The location is right by the highway and the walls are paper thin so any noise permeates the whole building. We heard every phone call, conversation, text notification, dog, horn, or other noise at all hours. No one was……

“I spent a week here and it was the best week of the year - what a wonderful way to end the year. There was music every evening (that would stop at a reasonable time to sleep), fireworks on NYE, a giant floating event for the first day of the year, and a lovely attitude by everyone. The room was great, I was worried about bugs, but a net was put up around the bed for me. Also, there was a bug repellent provided. Whenever an issue happened, someone was available to fix it. The electricity went out……

“This place blew our minds! Customer service was excellent. The room was high tech and very clean. The shower was relaxing. The bed was comfortable, We only wish it was bigger ;) The location is perfect, not too far from town and not too far from AIA. Property was properly secured. The price is unmatched! We came not knowing what to expect but we were completely blown away, and left with heavy hearts. Would 100% recommend.”

“I completely fell in love with the room which was a double edge sword since you can see the beautiful Caribbean water from bed. I got take out to enjoy the amazing room set up. They think of everything and I’m enamored with the decor and mosquito net bedding; super quaint and romantic. Super quiet at night and everything is walking distance. The owner was one of our favorite parts we will be back in a few months and will bring more family. LOVED it. ”
