“Enjoyed our recent 3 night stay at the Laburnum cottage. The accommodations were quite comfortable and certainly quiet. The cottage itself is nicely decorated and the hosts were very gracious (I got too used to having breakfast delivered on time every morning!).”

“Beautiful, relaxing surroundings with everything we needed for a perfect short break”

“Nice little spot for visiting Cowichan Bay. Owner is still working on perfecting such items as access and parking. Currently a bit of a challenge for anyone with mobility issues or limited parking skills. It is the downstairs suite with private exterior entry- upstairs is occupied ( by the owner, we believe). She is lovely and we had no objection, but if you thought a VRBO was supposed to be “all yours”, that is apparently not completely accurate. Would recommend for a single/couple/couple with……

“Beautifully located in a quiet and charming neighborhood. This little gem has everything you'll need while you're away from home. Brian the host is there to check you in and make sure you're visit will be comfortable. The breakfast of fresh berries and the best granola ever were a plus surprise”

“I was so impressed with Irina's rooms! Very clean and beautifully decorated. The front gate was a bit slow and saggy, and the access for our seniors was challenging with the hill to the rooms. We made it work with Irina's help, but we won't be able to book again due to the egress issues. Many thanks for fitting us all in!”

“Our room was very clean. We used the sauna and liked having the robes to wear downstairs. Michelle was friendly and gave us a tour of the property and explained how the services worked. We had to catch an early ferry and the property offers a breakfast to go if needed. We had a lovely breakfast. We would stay here again .”
