“Nice house. But said it slept six but no sheets or bedding for bed in cubby. Also tv was an issue was unplugged till we discovered that the next day and I guess they want you to stream everything because not a lot of channels to choose from. Also no filters for coffee maker. Had a bunch of chores required before we left to do which I never experienced before. But overall we had a nice time there and really appreciated that it was dog friendly and comfortable and the fireplaces on the porch……

“Nostalgia is the word I would best use to describe this comfortable Lakehouse. From the rock fireplace to the heart pine cabinets in the kitchen, the decor and the welcoming back porch all made us feel like we hadn’t rented a Lakehouse but we’re visiting grandpa’s Lakehouse. I have never felt so relaxed away from home. We loved it so much we extended our stay. The host, Erin, made everything so easy. She was accessible for questions and very welcoming. We cannot wait to come back in the summer. ”

“Everything was just as described and beautiful! We loved all the small amenities (USB power chargers by the beds, coffee pods, extra blankets, firewood, corn hole, etc...). It was a beautiful place and we had a great time! Our family of 5 had plenty of space. We loved the nearness to downtown Mentone, Desoto State Park, and other hiking spots. Hosts were helpful and communicative. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow.”

“Check in: We checked 1.5 hours after check in time and the cleaner was still there. I wish the host communicated this when I called an hour out to ask for check in instructions. Cabin description: It said three bedrooms, there was only one bedroom with a door, the other two were lofts. The third loft had exposed electrical outlet and the ladder/stairs were wobbly. Only one shower in the cabin, other bathroom had only a tub. The fireplace had the glass pane missing, the host said it was still……

“Host had it all covered - anything we needed was in stock at the house. Instruction manuals easily accessible, helpful extra info like wifi password and key code all in plenty advance, and all the supplies to clean up after ourselves. Perfect getaway opportunity and wouldn't hesitate to rebook it. ”
