「Great room, lovely building and settings. I’d avoid staying mid-week due to reduced staff / dining menu…and avoid cocktails 」

「Staff were friendly and very helpful. A joy to deal with actually. Fab location. Clean and comfortable room. I would Deffo stay here again. Lovely area with lots of great restaurants, supermarkets, coffee shops and an awesome bookstore too. 」

「No electricity in morning & the staff handled my case was not friendly. The room was very hot & recorded the temp 32 degree inside, could not sleep even had fan. Never choose it & not recommended to friends.」

「Bathroom wa sa very small wet room, which flooded the bedroom floor! Lucky there was nothing of mine on the floor that could have been ruined. Consequence of a tiny wetr9om is that the toilet is completely soaked after using the shower. The room was extremely noisy, even with powerful earplugs. I think there was either a band on until fairly late, or very loud music. 」

「A gem in the center of London. Easy to access. The room is neat and clear. The staff service is very friendly. It is very good for value.」

「The water pressure is too low, especially the toilet, I have to flush many times or even “shower” it. All others are fine.」

Lo unico no tan bueno es el estado de las habitaciones, se las ve bastante viejas y les falta actualización. Cortinas viejas, cuarto de baño muy viejo, moqueta en el suelo muy antigua. Si embargo lo recomendaremos por el fantástico personal, por su trato agradable tan o en el checkin como en los desayunos. La limpieza de habitación estaba muy bien realizada....

「Location is good, many shops nearby like Primark, Boots and supermarkets, but 10 mins walk from tube. Room condition is average, no slippers provided.」

「Unbelivably small, and low roof ceiling. I booked it for my friend and his son. They were shocked my utterly small room that cannot even lay down one luggage, then they requested to change a room. The staff charged them ￡50 or more(forgot the exact amount) per night, to change another small room that at least can extent a luggage. I did not know the extra charging fee when they left back. Shame. DO NOT recommend this hotel. 」

「Family room size is OK but bathroom is very small, weak shower and quite confined.」

「When I checked in I think the gentleman tried speaking slowly to make me understand easier cause I am a foreigner. It’s an old historical hotel and I think the founder love poem, I can see from the declaration. Anyway they provided the best breakfast. 」
