"The staff were excellent and very friendly. The rooms etc were very well maintained. The main lift was out of service meaning a long walk to an alternative, but this only mattered when carrying luggage. Breakfast was a standard buffet, little limited with its selection but more than adequate. My only major complaint was the room didn’t have any air conditioning or air circulation. It was incredibly hot and the windows only opened a few inches. They brought us fans but they simply couldn’t cool the room. I asked to be moved to a cooler room but they could only offer it for 2 nights out of our remaining 3. Which wasn’t worth the hassle of packing and unpacking."
"Did what it said on the tin. Clean, tidy and central location. Comfortable bed and quiet room. Unfortunately, the hairdryer was rubbish. The diffuser didn’t attach, the appliance was in poor repair and had little power."
"Modern, clean, perfect location for Newcastle. 3 miles up the rd, metro station 5-10 min walk away with frequent service
Never visited the pub attached, but seemed like a nice place to be"
"This was a fabulous hotel, it had a very exquisite feeling, the rooms were really big and spacious, the bathroom was just stunning, the whole ambiance was just lovely."
"Room small but clean as was the bed linen and towels. You had to wait 10 min for hot water.
The restaurant was good with staff that whent the extra mile.
As a Diabetic it would be very helpful if the venue also stated the carbohydrates. As we need this to calculate our insulin dosage.
I will use this hotel again."
"Check-in was excellent. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived, making us feel at home straight away. The process was smooth and efficient, and it was a lovely surprise that they had noted we were celebrating a birthday and acknowledged it on arrival. That thoughtful touch made our stay feel even more special.
Service throughout our stay was consistently excellent and much appreciated.
The hotel could improve by making the room service menu available within the online guest guidebook instead of directing guests to contact reception. It is also worth noting that the advertised cigar and fine spirits den is not currently available, which may be disappointing for guests expecting this facility."
"Excellent stay here - warm welcome at check in ; helpful staff. Rooms clean with ecerything you need - some free items in the mini bar . The breakfast is fantastic - lovely variety with fruits, fresh bread and pastries and cooked food also. This hotel has a cocktail bar and a tv ( but not intrusive ) so we could watch the sport . Ginos restaurant is on site and also provides excellent food. Location fab to explore the quayside and beyond. Thank you yo all."
"Excellent hotel, staff super friendly.
Nice modern room, bed very comfortable. Excellent leisure facilities.
Handy location for Tynemouth music festival."
