「It was a beautiful place! The host was very nice and friendly; she came out to help us with things we could have read in the info packet she’d emailed, but she didn’t display the least bit of annoyance. Instead, she conversed with us a bit about the property. The tents are so nice and gave little touches that take it over the top: water bottles, ear plugs, eye masks, decor, space heater, lights over the entrance (didn’t keep me awake). 「Lovely stay in a lovely lodge. Everything as described, clean and tidy and really helpful information given by Helen about stay and local area if you have never visited before. Within walking distance of a local pub and onsite facilities also but kitchen very well equipped. Comfy, home away from home after long walks in beautiful surroundings. Lodge is very pet friendly but as visitors without animals, you could tell it had been cleaned well and was perfect for us.」

「We loved our cabin stay. The cabin was very well equipt and was centrally located, a 15-40min drive to where we wanted to go. The cabin was super warm and the outdoors space was very pretty and no overlooked. The cabin itself was next to a play park area so perfect for family with kids. The cabin had views of the mountains from the kitchen and garden and we were able to watch beautiful sunsets from here. We loved our stay and will definitely re-book. 」

「We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.」
