“We had an amazing stay at Viking Village resort! It is an absolute hidden gem and truly felt like a fairytale escape. The cozy wooden houses are free-standing, which gives you excellent privacy, making them perfect for either a family trip or a solo getaway. I was so pleasantly surprised to find a fully equipped kitchen inside. The entire area is incredibly quiet with absolutely no outside noise—just total peace. On the premises, they have a great fireplace setup and the most amazing, cute……

“The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely……

“The pool was stagnant and full of bugs due to a non working pool pump, the owner said the pump stopped working that day (07/11) the pool area also was full of buckets of chemicals. There was very dirty sheets, like very visible staining and cigarette holes. There were earwigs in the lock mechanism to the door. There was black mold in the tub. The people outside harassed us for cigarettes and drugs. My son made the comment he saw a green light in the night on the TV side of the wall (worrying me……
